With a bit of trepidation we decided to see if the advertising for Countrylife would live up to its claims. It took just a few minutes to realise that it was actually a lot better than we had ever imagined.
The kids loved hand-feeding the guine pigs, rabbits, kangaroos, goats, donkeys, llamas, alpacas and horses. We all enjoyed rowing around the lake and looking at the ducks and other birdlife. The air-conditioned indoor playground was a big hit, particularly as it provided a place for us oldies to sit and have a coffee (free coffee!) while the kids whent mad. Then, on top of all that, the dodgem cars. I felt like a kid again. And there was a real carousel that the kids could ride on.
This is a lovely place and one we would come back to again. We would bring food next time and make a picnic out of the outing. Drinks and coffee are on sale, as are icecreams and other packaged snacks.

We were down with some friends a couple weeks ago & honestly it was the highlight of the trip!
Getting to be so close to all those cute bunny's & guinea pigs was just amazing & all the rides & the play area was awesome!!
Truly a perfect spot for a whole day of fun. We loved it and will be back again next time we are down that way!

Wow, this place is a gem. Took my two daughters and were with friends and there two kids and they can't wait to go back.
The owner John was so helpful and thoughtful from the get go. We got to feed guinea pigs, rabbits, alpacas, hosts, donkeys, ponies, cows and more.
The indoor playground is amazing and great for parents to have a rest with a cup if coffee/tea. The bumper cars were so cool and take a row around the small lake in a boat. It caters for everyone and every age.
I will be here every time I'm down this way and will make the trip down from perth specifically for here again.
Thank you John

Went there for the experience of getting up close and feeding the animals for my daughter and my family that were visiting from overseas - was really disappointed. The animals didn't look very well kept and the play areas were really run down and dirty. The toddler area especially - the toys were filthy and there were cobwebs over quite a few of them. There is a merry go round, however, it looked so old and rusty there was no way I was going to let my daughter on it. I was extremely disappointed in the experience, especially as it had cost us $16 each to get in! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone and definitely won't be going again.

Don't expect bells and whistles and you will have a fantastic time! It's a huge property with some animals you can feed and handle without feeling like you are breaking rules or being watched. There is plenty for the kids and the adults to do and lovely spots to bring a picnic to. We loved it!
