“Adults only Villa 12 'Heaven'”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2012

My husband & I just stayed in Villa 12 (Adults only) for a short break - March 2012. From the moment you step through the front door all your stress melts away & you feel like you are home from home. First impression of the villa is 'immaculate, soo clean & tidy'. I would definately say it is 5 Star accommodation. The furniture and decor is to a very high standard with a kitchen that is very well equiped with all you need EVEN A DISHWASHER! For longer stays the Laundry Room has everything. There are two very good sized bathroom's, with a spa bath in the ensuite upstairs. The bed in the upstairs bedroom (there are also two bedrooms downstairs) gave me the best couple of nights sleep I've had in ages. Having a cupa on the balcony with the view of the sea through the Peppermint Trees is definately recommended. Karen and Tim are soo kind and friendly and are only too happy to help with any problems or queries. There is nothing I found negative about the Villa so I totally recommend a stay there especially if you fancy a luxury break. My husband and I have already planned our trip back to Villa 12 and can't wait.

We booked Villa 4 for 4 nights in February 2012 to celebrate my parents-in-law 50th Wedding Anniversary. Our first impression of the Villa was the great layout. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs and 4 single beds with TV/DVD/Foxtel upstairs - perfect for our 2 children (aged 6 and 8). Dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer made my life a lot easier! 7 of us stayed at the villa and it cost us $250/night giving us great value for money. The villa is really well equipped, lots of cutlery, kitchen utensils, books, games, etc. etc. A home away from home really and we really appreciated that. We never had any issues with hot water running out even though there were 7 of us. The weather was pretty good whilst we were there and the children really enjoyed swimming in the pool. The location of the resort is PERFECT, just by the beach and we felt safe letting the children go off for bike rides along the foreshore. Dunsborough is a few minutes walk away and we can really recommend getting your morning coffee from the Yallingup Coffee House - divine! Tim and Karen were really friendly and easy going and the check in and check out process was quick and easy. We have also previously stayed in Villa 13 facing the beachfront - pure luxury and perfect for 2 families sharing. I would recommend this resort to anyone and look forward to staying there again in the not too distant future!

We stayed in villa 7 over the Christmas holidays, perhaps we could have dealt with no matching cutlery, or that the peeler was rubbish, but when the button off the gas stove was broken (so byo lighter) and the fact that we had to scrub the spa bath from the ingrained grime on it, and hair from the toilets, you can imagine we were disappointed. Karen and Tim agreed with us and were apologetic. The swimming pool was freezing, so most of the time was spent by the very close beach.

Most of the beds were fine except ours in the front room, it's defiantly time to replace it! we also had to use spare outdoor chair and the BBQ to barricade little ones from running off.

We had a good time because we were with family and it was Christmas after all!

Room Tip: pick your house at Geographe Cove wisely

The whole family travelled here for a long weekend - we booked three villas in a row, which worked very well. All 3 beautifully presented and everyone very happy with all amenities.
My only negative is that villa 5 didn't have enough hot water so the spa bath was a bit of a waste of time as only used it once and then everyone complained they had no hot water for a shower :) Other than that EVERYTHING is supplied that you would need for families.... dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron/ironing board, hairdryer the list goes on.......... add to this there was more than enough cutlery and crockery for the 23 of us there (in one villa).
The beach is only a very short walk away as is the village, very relaxing and plenty to do.

Room Tip: Villa's 4, 5 and 6 are all lovely villa's but don't book 5 if you want to use the spa ba...

Visited off season in Sept 2011 and found Karen and Tim to be very reasonable with a deal. House was decorated very well and was very clean, although the barbecue needed a good scrub before use.
There are newer houses in some of the resorts on the street but these cost twice as much and don't offer twice the value. We were happy to get a 3 nights for 2 offer here which made the deal even better.

Great base to review the region.

We stayed in villa 12 over the weekend and were impressed with the property - it was clean, modern, affordable and with a great position close to the beach and just a short walk into town.

We had 5 people in the 3 bedroom villa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - there was plenty of space for us all to spread out and not be in each others pockets. The walking path along the beachfront in front of the villa was perfect for s stroll along the shoreline.

I would surely recommend it to others looking for a relaxed beachy break!

Loved it at Geographe Cove! We had a 3 bed property which was ideal for a young family and the villa had all the facilities we needed - bbq, dishwasher etc! Just a 2 min stroll to a great beach for children - what more could we want? The owners were very helpful too - pointing out that our original dates fell in schoolies week (thank you so much for that!). A great base to explore the wineries and beaches of this corner of Australia. Not cheap but compared to other accommodtion it provided better value for money.
