“Terrible customer service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2014

We arrived at our accommodation at the Geographe Resort only to be met with warnings that there had been a bit of a party the night before that must have been a big one, and we were to make sure that we kept it down that evening - thats fine, but hardly the welcome you want after travelling halfway around the world to get to get somewhere. A hello might have been nice.
After settling in the boys found their way to the tennis court through a gate next to accommodation that was open, only to have the female proprietor come and verbally attack them for using the gate. I was forced to confront her for the way she spoke only to be abused, with terrible language and told she didnt care where we had travelled from, nor did she care about the wedding we had come to attend. NEVER in all my travels have I experienced such vulgar customer service. during our stay we were(and also many of the other guests including the father of the groom) revved for parties and noise that we had apparently had. On the occasions they spoke of, we were not even at the complex. At the after wedding bbq on the foreshore with all the family, the police were even called only to see that it was a lovely family gathering. The houses were lovely, the location terrific but the proprietors were completely out of line, especially the lady, and I will make sure NO ONE I know ever stays there, they left a very sour taste in all guests mouths. Completely unacceptable.

We visited the Geographe Cove Resort on the weekend 15 and 16 Feb and stayed in Villa 15.- - the booking was not made by me but by another family member.

While the Villa was a good size the presentation of it left a lot to be desired. The bathroom in the main bedroom was a disgrace. The shower was continually dripping and the tiles and grout were covered in mould. There are air conditioners in the living areas but nothing in the bedrooms. The fly wires in the windows were also in much need or replacement and there is no fence down one side of the property which is difficult to restrain little ones. From the time we booked to the time we arrived the the tariff had increased because Leuwin - but hey that's the way the accommodation places fleece tourists down that way. Then the coup de grace was when we had to pay a surcharge to use our credit card for payment. The Manager was most apologetic about this as it was apparently a Senior Management decision which they had no control over.

We stayed in app No 5 for a 3 nite stay over the New Year period, it had a homely feel about it, a touch of Greece, and was very clean. Right on the beach, a walk to town, and restaurants. I Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a little getaway from the city with family or friends.
Managers are great!!!!

We have just returned from a combined two family holiday staying in Villa 13. Geographe Cove Resort in a word is sensational. The house was large roomy and yet had a sense of cosiness about it. 50 metres from the beach, great walks great swimming in the ocean especially with young children, 5 minutes from town, wineries, bakeries, restaurants and a huge modern well equipped kitchen. We played tennis on a well kept court and when we had a few issues with some lights the management attended to this quickly and efficiently. We have decided to make Geographe Cove our annual school holiday Resort of choice. We will be coming back for family holidays for years to come. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: All the Villas are well kept and modern. If you have two families like we did ie 4 adults and 5 chil...

Stayed in front house for weekend with family for celebration of big birthday. The house was so big with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 2 lounges, big well equipped kitchen, 2 verandas main bedroom upstairs had balcony facing Geographe bay. Lovely to be able to go for walks along path around bay. Tennis court. Beds comfortable. Near to wineries.

We have stayed at Geographe Cove Resort many times and in different units. What we have always noted is that rooms are clean and as they all basically 'holiday homes', they have everything within( i.e. full kitchen and utensils) which is great if you want to take your own food etc with you. They villas can be described as a home away from home and as they are in Dunsborough you are perfectly placed to visit both Busselton and the Margaret River wine regions.
If you can stay in the villas closest to the beach you wont regret it as they have fantastic views and lead straight out to the beach.

Room Tip: If possible pick the villas closest to the beach i.e. 10,11,12,13, you wont regret it!!! :)

Geographe Cove Resort was the perfect place to spend our first family holiday together!

We (my husband and our 5 year old daughter) spent 5 nights in villa 16. We had everything we needed which made for a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday. There are 3 bedrooms, one with an ensuite. there is also an extra toilet, shower and vanity within the laundry. The washing machine and dryer are of great quality! We enjoyed having the well equipped kitchen to cook our meals.

The villa was exceptionally clean and well presented and we were very impressed with how well equipped it was! We really liked the quiet, family friendly atmosphere of the resort!

The location is also spot on. Dunn bay is calm and provided a great spot for fishing! The local shops are nice and close too! We found it very easy to drive to all of the places we wanted to see and we enjoyed driving down the coast visiting different beaches for swimming and fishing.

Would definitely recommend Geographe Cove Resort to anyone wanting to escape for a relaxing holiday with family or friends! Can't wait to come back!!!
