Dropped by after lunch to taste their wine and sample some food. Only ordered 2 entrees to share which was the scallop & the whiting fillet. They were both delicate dishes with some complex interesting flavors. Love the salad pairing with the whiting fish fillet. It was refreshing and tangy. The scallops with pancetta was very yummy too. Love the spacious layout of the restaurant seating. We were lucky to be seated near the window where it overlooked the wine yard. What a view!

Spectacular views. Food was pretty good - fresh produce and cooked well. It was a slow wait for food though! Took more than 30mins for our food to arrive. Perhaps more time for us to enjoy the views? Did a little wine tasting in their shop but was slightly put off by the gentleman who wasn't as friendly or keen to explain to a newbie like me. Staff at other wineries (Bettenays and Knee Deep) we went to were much friendlier even though we did not dine at their restaurant. Lovely grounds and we can see why many would choose to hold their wedding ceremonies here!

We had lunch here on a Friday mid-winter so needless to say it wasn't packed, but there was a steady stream of patrons nevertheless. My husband had a dozen fresh oysters which he said tasted like they had been harvested fresh that day.

I had beef cheeks which were to die for, and my husband had pork cutlets which could easily have fed both of us with some to spare. We ordered a side of Brussell Sprouts, but the waiter returned to say they were out of them. So we said broccoli, beans, peas... or something else similar would be fine. Waiter returned again to say no broccoli either - in fact no green vegetables at all! What were we expected to have with our meat for goodness sake! They managed to come up some cauliflower and baby carrots which were lovely, but really... no green veggies at 1.00pm!

Dessert was freshly cooked flourless orange cake for me and Greek style donuts for my husband. Again, both absolutely delicious.

So apart from the veggies (which wasn't a problem really) the meal was fantastic. Total cost, including a bottle of wine was $161 - which is what we generally expect to pay in this area.

Oh... and did I say the view was spectacular and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

I'd definitely go back again.

We went here for Sunday lunch and had a lovely table overlooking the ocean. The views are spectacular, and the staff are very friendly, but not overly attentive. The food was ok, but not spectacular. The presentation was nice, but there was no wow factor. Plus it is always a bit of a worry when your order comes out just minutes after you placed it- were they really made fresh? We were not surprised at how expensive the mains for adults were, as this seems to be the norm now for this area. However, we felt that paying $15.50 for a kids meal was just over the top. Our son was given 5 small chicken nuggets and chips. For that price we would have expected the nuggets to be hand made- not straight from a frozen packet! It made us feel a bit ripped off, which is a shame, given that this is the third time we have been here and we did enjoy the other visits. It probably will be our last visit given that there are so many other great choices in this area.

We had the lunch 2 course set menu for $55 included a glass of wine. We shared the first course which was a dozen oysters Kirkpatrick, had a main each and then share the desert. Was more than enough. Could not fit in coffee. Meal was superb.
