I booked with 3 Islands because of the great reviews on TripAdvisor - I was not disappointed! Great for all ages - we took our kids and our parents with us so our group ranged from 14 years to 64 years. Alex was a great guide and would take you by the hand to help you get closer to the whale shark if you were having trouble keeping up. He was very attentive to our groups needs. The 55 foot boat was a perfect size for the 20 snorkelers onboard (they divide you up into groups of 10 to take turns swimming with the whale shark). They had plastic bins to keep your stuff nice and dry. They drop you in the water in front of the whale shark and it swims right by you - it was amazing! One whale shark swam right under us which was really incredible!! We had 8 swims with two different whale sharks. We also saw a shovel nose shark and some dolphins. The food was good and the free DVD of our day was really nice. Thanks, 3 Islands for a memorable experience!!!

We spent May 2 on the vessel Nedo-k and had a wonderful day. The crew was professional, fun, and friendly. Our three kids were treated well and participated fully in the day.Our shark was moving fast, which meant we were moving quickly to get out and leap frog to the next drop station. It was exhausting but well worth it. The crew help the kids, making it possible to move faster.

While this tour has an expensive price, we would still recommend it. it is worth the rate. Go for it. We were not disappointed.

We originally had planned to do this tour days prior. 3 island asked us to move our date and rearrange our trip plans. We had the time but this meant moving other plans and our accommodation reservations were forfeit and had to be re-established. 3 Island made it up to us. Best customer service we've encountered so far in WA. Thank you.

Well done 3 Islands!
From the moment I booked through to the day on the boat, every contact with this group of enthusiastic and fun people was easy - even changing our booked dates!
We can't say enough about how awesomely enthusiastic the crew of the Draw Card were - even the noob Luke (who did a pretty terrific job on his first day!). They settled my 'I'm not a great swimmer' nerves, and were amazing with a child who was freaking out in our group, and with those of us who got a little green with the swell.
The safety talk was brilliant! The puppets really helped us to understand what was going to happen :-)
We loved every minute of the day, the food was scrummy and fresh, the Whale Shark was happy to hang out with us, and the added Ningaloo inhabitants put on a great show for us!
Thanks guys, you made what was always going to be a pretty special trip that much more amazing!

Everything was faultless with our day whalesharking with 3 Islands.

I booked them based on their reviews and everything they say on here is true.

The staff are super friendly, young and fun. The lunch was fresh and relish, boat was wonderful and of course the whale sharks were breathtaking.

The crew were so organized and professional but not boring or pushy. Such a great bunch of people who are clearly loving what they do. They went the extra mile to make sure every single person had a day they would remember & really when you're paying the big bucks that's what you want.

This company also includes a free DVD of photos from your day which is great! No one likes to fork out $385 then be asked to purchase a DVD, so these guys are winners.

Just book with them & life will be great.

A well run, professional, safe outfit that enabled us to achieve our dream of seeing these magnificent fish at close range. Don't know what the stuff about the DVD is but we got a short pre-shot/made film and a disk of photos of the day included with our tickets (pick-up the next day). The photo quality was quite decent (quality may depend on the weather and water conditions). If you want to be in a photo with a big fish make it known and get into the frame. I prefer to focus on the shark personally.
What I didn't expect was to be able to go in and out of the water several times to swim with the shark (taking turns with the other half of the group). Turn-around time seems quick but when you are in the water you don't feel too rushed at all. It really gets quite exhausting, especially if there's a swell and you keep excitedly sucking waves into your snorkel!
