The bay is amongst many great locations on the reef, however this would rival most as a top spot for snorkelling and checking out the wonderful an unique marine life that live here on the Ningaloo. Turtles nest, dolphins, sharks and fish are plentiful, thoroughly recommend. Watch strong currents at times all great fun in the turquoise waters.

“Good for snorkellers and families”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

Very nice sand beach with one side good for snorkellers (beware of the current), the other side good for kids and less experienced snorkellers with easy access to the reef. You can see fish in one meter depth, just by the beach!
There is no shade, so it's getting very hot unless you bring a shade tent

“Best place to snorkel for all levels”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

The beach is incredibly beautiful. Soft sandy beaches and turquoise waters just as the name implies. The snorkeling here is absolutely perfect. You walk right from the beach and swim in waters without so much as a single wave. This was one of my first times snorkeling and I felt completely comfortable (after nearly having a panic attack in the middle of the ocean a week prior). It's great for kids and beginners as well as the more experienced because the fish and coral are incredible. I also saw eels, sting rays, and swam with a sea turtle. Absolutely a must do. Does require a car to get there.

“White sandy beaches and great snorkel!”
Reviewed 26 December 2013

It takes you about 35-45min from Exmouth by car and it’s a wonderfull experience. You can hike into a gorges, see turtles on the beach and, of course, snorkel on their clearly water beaches. We specially recommend the Turquoise Bay, it’s a very nice beach separated in two loops, we saw green turtles, small rays, octopus and a lot of fishes in the reef. We went two days in a raw and we couldn’t see reef sharks, but a lot of people saw it, so it’s possible to catch them there.

“Nature has unbelievable colours”
Reviewed 21 December 2013

The sea is really as turquoise as you expect by the name. It is not too crowded, though for swimming you have to be a bit careful, because of the currents.
