Absolutely beautiful but be careful when snorkelling, there is strong currents and is understandably busy at holidays .

An absolute fanastic area for swimming and snorkelling.

The beach from the Drift Loop carpark was absolutely perfect for snorkelling - there is plenty of interesting things to see. The beach is also very protected and fine for splashing around in.
The more northern beach area is a lot for swimming (especially for children) as there is less current to deal with, the snorkelling is not nearly as good though.

For the small park entry you need to pay its well wroth the money

Lovely beach with fantastic snorkelling, the drift is particularly good. Sunset is very special, especially as you can walk out on the sandbar :)

Beautiful views, the colour of the ocean is spectacularly turquoise ! The snorkelling was incredible. For those who are not confident in the water the swim towards low tide was great with plenty of fish to see and the reef was not too far out. The drift was strong and be aware that you need to start far south and remain aware of where you are as the current can be strong.
