We stayed in at an unpowered site for two nights. The facilities in the park were excellent, especially the toilets/showers, laundry, bbqs, campers kitchen. We didn't use or check out the pool but the gardens looked nice and the place was very well maintained.

We had continual issues with poor customer service from the front office, including rude phone calls from the office and very poor experience on check in and check out.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 3 nights. The cabins appear newish and are very tidy and have all the things you could want in this type of accommodation. Kitchen is a good size and well kitted out to make any sort of meal and the lounge/dining area is functional and the lounges are quite comfy. The queen bed we had was a little hard, but bed firmness is always a matter of personal preference so others may find it quite comfortable. The freezer did smell like fish, but we weren't really using it for anything so it didn't affect us. The shower looked like it hadn't had a good scrub for a while but other than that, the cabin was clean enough. The park facilities are very good - the onsite shop has the basics, the pool area is lovely and the grassed sites and general grounds look very well maintained.
In terms of what accommodation is available in Exmouth and at what price, the cabins seem reasonable value for money and are in a good location (opposite Mini Golf and just down the road from Pinocchio Restaurant and a 10 min walk into town). The staff were very friendly and check in/out was very smooth. Would probably stay here again when next in town.

Room Tip: All the cabins are located near the pool area

Stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom self-contained chalet. We had to sweep the sand off the floor and request a cleaning service for the fridge freezer (the previous guest must have stored bait in the freezer and it had NOT been cleaned or checked). This experience coloured our stay somewhat. The chalet is comfortable, seems fairly new, and has a good kitchen and bathroom. the verandah with table a chairs is a bonus. The doonas supplied are so heavy it is hard to rollover in bed, so would take my own next time. Park surrounds are excellent, very clean and the office is efficient. Good TV reception and excellent choice of channels etc. They are triallung WIFI and have not got it right yet. We attempted to use it but it kept dropping out. Accommodation is very expensive for what you get.

Room Tip: Make sure you are not near the camp kitchen on Saturday night - unless you enjoy very loud bass musi...

Thank you for your review.

We sincerely apologise for your troubles with the refrigerator/freezer on arrival. After our housekeeping team attended to your initial report with a thorough clean, we were surprised to be notified the smell had returned which we found to be caused by the seal in the fridge, which was then detailed. We had hoped since there were no further reports the smell had been rectified.

Our property is currently trailing a new WIFI system, however at times we are experiencing technical difficulties due to our remote location which we are attending to.

We hope you enjoyed your visit to Exmouth and whilst all remote locations are influenced by increased costs compared to more populated areas we can assure you that we aim to provide the highest level of service at the most reasonable prices to meet the expectations of budget travellers.

It is our usual practice when we know we are heading for less populous places (like the Kennedy Range, or Gibb River Rd) to cook up a few basic meals in advance while we have the facilities and freeze them to make meal generation simple when out bush. Imagine our surprise when we tried this at Exmouth Cape, an otherwise fairly well maintained and equipped park. They have no freezers in the kitchen refrigerators!! We had to resort to removing items from our little camp fridge that we didn't want to freeze and putting them in the camp kitchen fridge, and then putting our pre-cooked food into our little fridge and cranking the temp down to -5C. To top it off, there was a sign on the kitchen fridge saying that all unlabelled food items would be cleaned out each morning. So, we need to ensure we get up early enough to beat the cleaners and we'll be worrying about it all night.
Even the most basic parks we have stayed at (like Hamelin Pool on Shark Bay) had a freezer. What's wrong with these folks? We also noted many pieces of equipment with signs saying "out of order" in the kitchen . Yet the park was well patronised- can't these folks afford to fix anything?

We have been coming here every year for two weeks holiday for the past ten years. We have our own caravan and for the past several years have been staying on an ensuite site.

The current management staff have been running the park for two years and are doing a good job. The service is great - friendly and helpful with a smile.

The ensuite ablutions are showing their age (they are about 20 years old), but are still functional. Cost per night is $76 with no weekly discounts. I believe the cost of a powered site is around $55 per night. This is very expensive, but Exmouth is a place we want to keep coming back to, so we grin and bare the cost.

The park also has a large number of backpacker rooms, cabins and a house. Large campers kitchen with outdoor area.

This is the newest of the caravan parks in Exmouth and I believe is the nicest one.

Stayed in a self contained cabin with ensuite whilst in Exmouth for 4 days / 3 nights. Cabin very clean as well as the park facilities. Reception very helpful and allowed for early check out with a key drop. Would stay here again if in Exmouth

Room Tip: Ensuite is semi attached to cabin. You get your own personal one but it is located behind the cabin...

Friendly staff when checking in, not so on my return to question how to work the aircon when i was told they were too busy. Redeemed by the lady cleaning the rooms who was friendly, and helpful. Good value for money, close to the visitor centre and you can purchase snacks and drinks at reception. You can also hire snorkelling equipment from the dive shop attached. Most drinks machines within the kitchen were out of order which isnt good when the reception closes for the day. The amenities were clean and close by so i never had to wait. I stayed in the dorm rooms/cabins that were well set out with plenty of power points, however chairs for the table within the room would help as i stayed on the top bunk and there was no where to sit other than the floor or climb to my bunk (low ceilings make being comfortable on the top hard for taller people).
