“Wow! Great place”

We truly loved the whole experience stayed 3 night. The showers.were so creative, water heated from a wood stove hot and plenty of water. The family were welcoming , Edwin's has great plans. We took a road on their land right to the base of the Exmouth Gulf, for fishing, no luck but great experience.

Even though I tried to book our trip relatively early, given that it was peak season of April holidays, some areas were fully booked which resorted to station stays, which I was not disappointed in. I was keen to experience a stay on a working farm, having worked on a SA farm as a child and curious to experience an Australian farm other than my knowledge McLeod’s Daughters. The three we stayed at were Bullara Station Stay, Hamelin Station Stay and Murchinson House Station Stay. Each station was centrally and well situated for sight-seeing and activity and each uniquely splendid in their own.

Having lived most of our lives on the land we were keen to get back to some bush setting and Bullara provided that beautifully. Really enjoyed the campfire at night and talking to Jeff the ''Dogger''. He even gave us a fish for singing country songs around the campfire. A great bloke. The walk to the sand hill was enjoyable seeing and hearing the different birds and we saw a Bowerbirds bower so that was special. We highly recommend Bullara to people from all walks of life to see the real Australia. The Martins

We stayed two nights in one of their double rooms.

The host Edwina was so welcoming and friendly. The whole place had an authentic, 'homely' feel. The furnishings and decoration throughout was clever and creative. The kitchen and dining area (for room guests) was well appointed, clean, comfortable and spacious. Toilets and showers were extremely clean.

The highlight really, was building our own fire, lighting the BBQ and dining under the blanket of stars.

The travel time to coral bay is absolutely fine and I would choose this place over any of the places we saw in coral bay.

Could not fault this place - it provided a truly unique experience.

From the moment we booked our short stay at Bullara we felt we were in safe hands. Even though the weather wasn't on our side the family were incredibly friendly and helpful. Right down to the driven escort down the track to ensure we didn't get stuck in any over sized puddles. What's great is that even though this is very much a working farm, Edwina knows how to make things homely and ensures your stay is comfortable. Cappock cottage was a delight to stay in, with an unbelievable setting. This was truly an unforgettable experience.

Bullara station stay is the best camping experience we ever had. It's a real outback experience. If you are looking for good people, great environment, camp fire, clean facilities and billions of stars during the night and you don't mind a few flies or no mobile reception or no electricity, this is the place for you. We will never forget this place!

Staying at Bullara Station was an amazing Aussie experience, as the site is really how we can picture a farm in the Australian Outback. Edwina is a warm and lovely person who greeted us to the station and provided excellent sausages (various meat can also be provided depending of the deliveries) that we have cooked on the common barbecue.
The station is conveniently located between Exmouth and Coral Bay (roughly 60 kms from Coral Bay and 90 kms from Exmouth), which makes it well located to drive to those both touristic areas for the day.
The facilities are a bit archaic but totally acceptable and clean, and match the outback scenery with charm. The shower under the stars is a must-do and unique experience!
This station is totally to recommend for a stay out of the touristic crowd and for a true blue Aussie experience, and is great to mingle with the other hosts around the campfire at night.
