“Good but expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

We stayed for one night as part our honeymoon. We had 4 nights booked in a local BnB and they couldn't accommodate us for an extra night when we changed our itinerary, so decided on one night at the Novotel. It is a nice hotel, but it's expensive. Our room was spacious and clean, but looked out onto the mini-roundabout and road over to the harbour (ground floor block 7), and the little terraces are only half separated from the neighbours'. There is a drying rack and the bathroom was also spacious and well appointed. However one of the room phones was broken (thankfully there were two), there was only WiFi in reception, and not many sockets for plugging in things to charge. As it's out of town we opted to eat in Mantarays on site and weren't super glad we did (see separate review) - there are better places in town. It does look very smart, the lily ponds are beautiful. The service was also very good and we were touched by being given a bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon with nice note.

Beautiful room, great restaurant, so lovely and relaxing, A+++! Recommended for staying, had a top room facing the water, gorgeous. Food was amazing, worth every cent. Staff are wonderful. Was only there for a few days but will go back again someday, so relaxing.

Our Exmouth accommodation was at the 4.5 star Novotel Ningaloo which is the only resort located along the Sunrise Beach and is considered one of the most luxurious options to stay in town. Every hotel room and apartment are positioned to try and maximise views of the water with the ocean and marina both only meters away from our apartment’s doorstep.
We stayed in one of the two bedroom self-contained apartments which had a spacious open plan with the perfect layout for a family with two children. In addition to our type of lodgings, the resort also has two types of hotel rooms, one bedroom apartments and bungalows and their largest accommodation, the two story two bedroom bungalow directly overlooking the beach.
Our apartment had a comfortable King sized bed in the master room with twin beds located in the second bedroom. There was a pillow menu on offer however we didn’t notice this until late in the evening when there were minimal options left. Housekeeping advised us apologetically that our stay coincided with a full house and were given first priority on pillow options for the following morning. The bathroom opened out onto the bedroom with bi-folding doors and had a spa bath with separate shower. There were a variety of Accor branded amenities available.
The kitchen was equipped with most of the basic utensils that you would need for cooking including a stove, microwave, dishwasher and full sized fridge for storing all your leftovers. Despite having good intentions to cook up some local seafood to eat, we never even got around to boiling the kettle! For my full review include head over to my Chompchomp blog

We stayed in a one bedroom beach bungalow and the room was stunning – very high end luxury. The bathroom was enormous and had a two person spa bath, separate large shower enclosure, lots of white fluffy towels, toiletries, bath robe and slippers. The room comes with a safe, fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board. Our terrace had a table with two chairs and a sunbed overlooking the beach. Inside our room, we also had a large comfy sofa to relax on, but we had mixed feelings about the bed, but more personal preference than an issue with the quality. Free wifi available in the hotel lobby, which you could enjoy with a beautiful setting overlooking the water feature and swimming pool. The West Coast of Australia is not cheap and for this amount of luxury, you certainly pay for it!

I only got to stay here one night with business, but the rooms and facilities were very luxurious and modern. The spa and bathroom setup is fantastic and the rooms have a very generous deck/balcony overlooking the pool and the beach.

I will be staying here again for sure!
