We are not caravan park people .. We usually camp and the remoter the better. Decided to do something different.. Hired a camper for a few days and met up with family at their chosen caravan park. The park was quite full , really can't say the reception was over friendly or informative and that continued with our 2 further trips to reception
Found our allocated position near the toilets/ amenities/ kitchen and thought ... Noise and pedestrian traffic noise.
We settled into at the park aided by other campers who were very friendly, and helped us with the etiquette of camping grounds. By then our family had turned up.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days.. amenities .. A new section which is accessible wirth a code only. Clean toilets/ showers. Ample hot water. We found the camp kitchen plenty of room, fridge for storing food in if needed. BBQ area great.
Pool looked lovely but too cold for swimming this time of the year.
After 9 pm complete quietness in the grounds..
Mornings again really not much noise until about 8am.
Lovely location looking out at the river. Council works going on but we were out during the day and really didn't hear anything from them.
Grounds seemed well maintained.
Amazing little cafe next door....The Gorges along with a few little shops. IGA shop within walking distance.
We really enjoyed our stay here .. could not complain about the ammenities or location or noise but thanks due to our fellow travellers who provided such a great atmosphere.
