“Quaint and comfortable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 April 2014

Holberry House is a home away from home. Very comfortable rooms, nice gardens, statues and swimming pool. Ideally suited for walking and travelling in and around Nannup. Very good breakfast in a charming if old fashioned room.

We regularly choose Holberry House for accommodation during the March Nannup music festival and any other time that we travel to or near Nannup. It is hard to beat, surrounded by many acres of superbly tended gardens and bushland. Louise and Chris will see that you are continually fed up, with cake, tea, coffee at any time. There is plenty of parking close to your accommodation which is convenient and the grounds are just minutes walk from the centre of town, so you don't need a car to get to the pub.
The lounge room is spacious, the breakfasts set you up for the day, the grounds are relaxing, the duck is pond full of activity and scattered artwork adorn the area.
We've booked in for next year's music festival and hopefully will get a chance to get there sooner

My husband and I look forward to our stay at Holberry House for the Nannup Music Festival. Our favourite room would have to be the Spa Suite although the queen room we stayed in recently is very comfortable. The bedrooms are situated up a flight of stairs with a lovely inviting sitting room downstairs where you will find self serve Tea, Coffee and Milo. There is a fridge in the sitting room as well to store any provisions you wish to keep cold. We enjoy the breakfast of Fresh fruit salad, yogurt, home baked bread and muffins. You can also order a cooked breakfast at an additional charge. There are books to read, the daily newspaper and games to keep you occupied if you chose to have a lazy day in. The gardens are very restful with a small stream running through the property. If you’re lucky you might get to meet the resident ducks and chooks. The pool area we found to be a great place to cool off . Holberry House is only a quick walk into town which offers a variety of Restaurants and Cafes. We would love to visit in winter this year. Chris and Louise are lovely hosts.

Thanks Jenni for your response,
We would love to have you stay during the year. I am bringing the first load of wood in today, getting ready to have the fire on at night time.
Take care,
regards, Louise

Enjoyed everything about Holberry House. It was a real haven after cycling the first half of the Munda Biddi Trail. Excellent value. A beautiful and restful place. I loved the books and my partner loved the magic cake plate : ) Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Get the spa room if you've been cycling the Munda Biddi trail : )

We have stayed at Holberry several times. It has always been fabtastic !!! The rooms have that quaint olde world charm , supremely comfortable, and immaculately clean. With genial hosts making us feel very welcome we were taken on a tour of the extensive gardens ( with several sculptural interests ) Especially inviting was the ground floor lounge area around the fire and the summery conservatory - great to while away the morning hours reading the papers or a good book. We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: The spa room is huge

My friend and our daughters have a girls weekend at Holberry House each year for the Nannup Music Festival. The accommodation, the breakfasts, our hosts Louise and Chris and the beautiful house and gardens are wonderful to enjoy and to retreat to when we have had enough music . The pool is great to use on hot weekends.I would gladly stay in winter and use it as a base for hilking nearby.. A pleasure to look forward to.

My husband and I have been staying at Holberry House in Nannup for the last 12 years, always during the time of the Nannup Music Festival at the end of February. It is a very special treat that we look forward to each year, as the Festival is getting better and bigger. Holberry House and the lovely, warm, welcoming hosts Chris and Louise are a sanctuary in the buzzing of the Festival event. Holberry House is situated in beautiful English rose garden within a naturally beautifully landscaped Australia Bush setting. It is simply magnificent. The only down side is that by the end of the Long Weekend, we have to leave. This year we stayed an extra night and enjoyed the peace and quiet returning to this lovely country town. The swim in the outdoor pool under the gum trees is also a very welcomed way off 'chilling out' during the hot summer season.

Room Tip: The Spa Suite is undoubtedly the best room
