Owner description: Yallingup's #1 Cooking School teaches you the secret to authentic Tuscan, Thai or Wood-fired cuisine in a hands-on class. A fun experience you're guaranteed to enjoy. Hosts Sioban and Carlo Baldini are famous for their warm hospitality both at the cooking school, the Wildwood Valley Cottages, and their Italian tour business Mad About Tuscany. Sioban trained as a chef under Neil Perry and further Thai training at Sydney's Longrain. Carlo hails from Cortona, Italy and loves to share his knowledge through the Wood-fired class.

Having never been to a cooking class before, I was curious how this idea was going to evolve as as a team building exercise for the day. Hands on from the first minute, we were able to learn, participate and experience the tastes of Tuscany with Siobhan and Carlo - a true team!
Everything cooked from scratch and enjoyed at the end of the day with all of my colleagues.
What a great experience!

We've just returned from an amazing weekend staying at Wildwood Valley in Yallingup.....It felt like we were visiting old friends. We decided to try the cooking classes offered by Siobhan and Carlo......outstanding food and tuition! The chicken satay sauce was the best I've every tasted........and who would think that my 'vegetarian' friend would convert to try....twice cooked sticky pork hock!. The complimentary breakfasts are awesome.....I recommend the 'Italian'. We've already booked our return trip and are bringing 8 friends back with us.

Thank Debra T

I've done these courses 3 times now and have gained valuable skills. I like the way we discuss the ingredients and the way Sioban and Carlo put them together. Relaxed and happy to answer questions. love it.

We have done these cooking classes many times now, and Siobhan and Carlos make it feel as though we are coming back "home". Truly the best experience, great food, great accomodation and THE best hospitality. The cooking classes are interactive and so much fun, even an experienced cook can pick up some handy tips.
