Overall the experience was good but a few minor things could be improved. The service forgot to leave the jam for breakfast and it took a while to organise a high chair, The space was amazing, very private and luxurious but the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were mis matched with only 1 feather pillow. Also the menu and restaurant guide for take away restaurants was completely out of date. But these are all small items that can be improved. The quality of accommodation was great and the private chef was fantastic.

I stayed in the Deluxe Pavilion for four luxurious nights before and after my wedding in November 2013. My family also rented five other villas, all just as luxurious, peaceful and perfectly designed. The villas are stunning, looking onto bushland. Everything is provided that you could possibly want and the staff are more than helpful. They even returned to let my dad into the villa that afternoon after leaving his computer behind. We hope to visit again soon as the villa and setting with stay in our memories forever.

Visited in September 2013 with my boyfriend and we stayed over the long weekend in the Studio pavillion. We had previously stayed in the Deluxe pavillion in 2010, and loved it so much we decided to definitely return. The Studio pavillion is gorgeous, picture a secluded luxury cabin, with beautiful wood floors and a high ceiling. An amazingly soft bed with a gorgeous spa bath and shower just die for (my favorite part)! The patio was lovely we relaxed sipping wine into the night. So luxurious. The Deluxe pavillion was larger, with a kitchen and living area but we found that we didn't miss the extra space. It's a great location, close to the shops at Dunsborough and to many wineries and beaches in Margaret River. Be sure to book lunch or dinner at The Studio Gallery restaurant right next door to the retreat, the food was very tasty with an extensive wine list. If you're keen on a luxurious, romantic getaway down south, I highly recommend this retreat. We left feeling truly refreshed and rested.

We stayed in one of the luxury villas with another couple in Nov. They are fully self contained with one featuring a kitchen & lounge & the other a studio room joined by a boardwalk. It was very spacious, lovely and clean & well appointed. It is well located to Yallingup & given we were attending a function at Studio Bistro for dinner on our 2nd night it meant we could walk the 50m to the restaurant and not have to worry about who had to drive.
The only thing I would say is that it is quite expensive and apart from milk, tea and coffee nothing else is provided. I believe a little breakfast hamper for the next morning would be a nice touch given the price. Other than that it is a beautiful luxury self contained retreat to stay.

I also booked a massage thru the retreat and it was lovely. A nice touch to have them come to your room so you can relax straight after it and not have to travel.

This place was simply wonderful all round, can't find any faults.

It's a fantastically located homely very spacious house perfect for visiting the vinyards, restaurants and beaches of Margaret River.

We took the option of the getting the chef Greig to come in and cook for us on our first evening and he produced a sublime meal good enough for any top restaurant. He was also the perfect host, knew when to talk and when to not, served, and produced an amazing venison stew which had enough chilli in to make wonderfully hot and spicey. He also had the challenge of cooking two meals, one vegetarian one meaty and both were delicious.

We also took up the Knee Deep winery package as it was great value. Although Knee Deep was not up to the same quality of food as Chef Greig it was a great experience to taste wines with the meal and a great location.

The house itself is airy, cool in the summer sun and has all the facilities that you could possibly imagine. So much space it was fantastic!

Definitely worth the money and really enjoyed the experience, would recommend it to you!

I spent a weekend here and would highly recommend the place to anyone and everyone.

I am an extremely picky, attentive to detail person. I like everything to be perfect.
I was looking for something that wasn't in a loud and busy spot but not too far from everything. This was in the perfect location, right beside a beautiful gallery café and just down the road from Yallingup town.
We stayed in the Studio Villa and the room was very spacious and clean and tidy. The wide sliding doors opened up to a nice back veranda with lounge chairs and a table.
The products in house are also beautiful; coffee, tea & beauty products.
The contact between myself and the owner of the villa was great as they could answer any questions or quires I had in a timely fashion.
I'll defiantly stay there again.

After reading the great reviews, we decided to stay at the retreat for the weekend. The service when making arrangements to stay was very helpful. We had the Moana studio. The spa oils, body scrub and hamper provided were lovely and the in-room massage good. Room is nice with views to a small garden.

What was disappointing was it was a cold night when we got there and the air conditioner seemed too small for the room and took three hours to warm the room. The most disappointing was the bed was extremely hard and we both were very sore in the back each morning. Spa jet was broken and given the broken bits were missing, guessing it had been for some time. It did not seem to fit the bill of a 'luxury resort" compared to other places we have stayed in the area so it did not aseem comparable for value for money.

Tip: the Studio Gallery & Bistro, literally a few steps away from this accomodation, is one of the top rated restaurants for the area, however it is extremely popular, so book well ahead. Unluckily we never got the opportunity to sample this restaurant.

Note: rooms are not serviced for two night stays.
