You have to go into the Yanchep National Park to find this hotel. We stayed one night. Comfortable, beds and pillows were good. We had a shower kitted out for wheelchair access, so water sprayed all over the toilet and out the bathroom door. Looks a little dated, but this hotel has been around forever. Lovely surrounds, lots of kangaroos and birds which we loved. Hoping the Govt will extend this park to include the bush to the north, won't hold our breath tho. Would stay again.

A most beautiful place. Extensive views of lake with water fowl, kangaroos grazing on the grass in front of balcony, wonderful bush walks. Room and bathroom was clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff extremely friendly and delicious meals served in restaurant which has a log fire on cold evenings. A fantastic finale to our stay in Western Australia.

Room Tip: Select a lakeside unit

This was our last stop on our holidays. Did not want to book it first, but now we are glad we did. On arrival we upgraded to the Spa/Lakeview rooms. It is nice, spacious room with a true kingsize bed. As we stayed in many B&B's and hotels, the price is a bit over the top for what you get. However, we did not regret it. We enjoyed the peaceful nights, watching the beautiful nightsky from our balcony (while hearing the kangaroos grazing :))). The food was delicious (had breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the staff serviced very well. To wake up in the morning seeing a lake, beautiful trees and wildlife and not hearing any car traffic or any other city noises, has been absolut delightful. If you do not appreciate things like that, it is still worth coming. We will!!!!

Stopped in for a night on the way north; upstairs rooms at $70 a night about on the money, basic but clean. Rest of the hotel just as it is advertised; an historic inn. Love the place!! Food was fantastic, staff ultra friendly (and cute) plus breakfast is included.

I read the other reviews before staying at the Yanchep Inn so i was ready for a rought time but as we were attending a wedding it was our first choice for accommodation.

It was absolutely wonderful!

The wedding was set next to the lake in the park under the shade of some Jarrah trees - Perfect!

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and served in huge portions and the rooms were very clean and tidy (they were fairly basic, but we absolutely loved sitting on the balcony looking at all the kangaroos).

The beer garden was lovely to just sit and relax in (highly recommend the tasting plate!) and the staff even gave us some meat to feed the kookaburras that sit outside the bar.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay during the weekend and we will definately be coming back!

Room Tip: We stayed in the lakeside rooms which seem to be the most modern.

We stayed in the so called new section of the hotel. What a let down, the room was very dated, way overpriced ($225 a night) and it needed a good clean. If this was the new section I'd hate to see the older sections.
