Pipe Creek Farm Bed and Breakfast
Ranked #1 of 1 West Falls B&B and Inns

We decided to try another B&B after enjoying a few on our vacation on the east coast of Canada. This B&B is close to an event that we were going to enjoy on the Saturday. We did find that the location was a little hard to find. The lady of the B&B welcomes you with open arms and always wants you to enjoy the hospitality of their home. They live in a trailer on the property and their home is open to the visitors. Lots of cats, dogs and wildlife such as deer and various birds. They have a pool but we did not plan to use it as we had plans for the weekend. The shower and bathroom was a little involved with lots of items and made it difficult to decide where you would place your personal items. If you like to enjoy genuine stories from the owners, it is a delight to stay. The breakfasts were not exactly my enjoyment, but I prefer toast, fruit and coffee to make me happy.

The property description is just like per the previous contributors. But what we have noticed in additon to it was the bottomless heartfelt friendship of all locals we came into contact with - Kathy, Phil, Rachel, Sidney, Debbie and others - we felt we became the members of the family overninght.

We arrived on a "blid date" - i.e. without any reservations, just on the whim of an internet clue. We believe our little dog Miki swayed our landlady Kathy to take us in just befor the July 1 weekend.

Miki quickly became friends with the resident dogs (he had some problems with the cat), but we watched him early one morning in a total awe being mesmerized when he the first time in his life met a (nursing?) deer mom through the screen of the living room. It was an absolutely wonderful moment to watch a small mixed breed dog raised in a city environment to come the first time totally peacefully within 5 meters in contact with the wildlife he had never experienced before...

The hosts did their outmost to make us feel at home. Kathy made us wonderful breakfasts using the area fruit and dairy products,,. And we hope that we left with her a lasting impression that we were the quests, who they might want to have again...?

At least, as far as we are concerned, we will be in touch again, perhaps together with another branch of our family.

Thanks again, Kathy and Phil

There were no reviews for the Pipe Creek Farm on Trip Advisor, so we were a little worried. The location was chosen for its proximate to Niagara Falls and Rochester. The location is remote. The area is difficult to navigate as none of the streets are on a grid, and seem to dead end at a farm. The closest town, East Aurora, is approximately 15-20 minutes away.

The property is a horse farm. There is a lovely pool in front of the house, though it is not heated, and unfortunately it was too cold to swim. There are two cats in the home, and several(never could figure out how many) dogs. We actually had an accident one night. In coming in late, one of the dogs had left a present in the entryway. The owners were not home and we ended up on our knees cleaning up the mess.

This bed and breakfast is similar to that one would find in England, or Ireland. You are staying in someone's home, and using the bedrooms-though the owners actually sleep in a trailer on the property. The home has years worth of knick knacks, and may not be to everyone's cup of tea.

We were disappointed as a TV was not available in the main sitting area, and we felt uncomfortable sitting in the sitting area provided for guests, as the owner was cooking and eating dinner. Don't get me wrong, the owner, Kathy, is quite accomodating, but we are not use to feeling as though we had no where to go, but our room.

Breakfast consists of hard boiled eggs, fruit with yogurt, yummy scones made by a neighbor's child, cereal, and a multitude of beverages.

The owner, Kathy, is the reason people return to the farm. She is an outgoing new age older woman, who always has a smile on her face.

As long as you understand you are staying in someone's home, similar to a European Bed and Breakfast, and you don't mind pets, you will not be disappointed.
