positive points are that it was very good value for money and staff were efficient and friendly.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT-we did request a quiet room and were told that the front was all booked up. You can certainly hear the trains in the back between 7.30am-11.30pm-the room practically rocks so not particularly calming.........The floor outside the rooms is also creaky. The rooms are small and were very hot. I think everyone had a window open, not that it made much difference. Nice they serve a cooked breakfast-everything was pretty cheap and not the tastiest but edible nonetheless. It is 20 mins from Glasgow centre by car. It all just looks like it needs an up-date to me.

Room Tip: choose a front room? This faces the road and may be quieter though it is a fairly big road. back rooms are almost on the railway track. Otherwise bring earplugs.........

I recently went to the Psychic Supper night at the Burnside Hotel. I hadn't been to the hotel in a good while and was really impressed by its revamp! It was very comfortable, stylish and chique!
The food was really nice and well presented by pleasant staff.
Psychic night was a laugh and pretty good value.

Had lunch today in the burnside hotel restaurant for the first time .. not really impressed .. soup potato
and leek very thick but quite tasty .. then bacon and chicken ceaser salad with limp lettuce and not alot of taste .. hubby ordered surf and turf as usual .. a burger on a bun covered with cold prawns and a strange sauce .. he thought she had brought the wrong dish .. lovely surrounding but food maybe needs a bit of improvement .. will give it the benefit of the doubt and try something different next time !!

Had a one night stay over at the Burnside Hotel as I had business in the area.Perfectly satisfactory for what I required,a good value for money place to get the head down.Staff were very friendly and helpful, check in was smooth and efficient.Room was clean and well appointed, and the bed was comfortable and gave a good nights sleep. The hotel has a couple of bars and a restaurant area which are well decorated and furnished with reasonable prices. It is situated in a relatively quiet area so no major noise problems(stayed at weekend so can't vouch for midweek).Service at breakfast was friendly and quick and the breakfast itself was very good, with a good choice of menu.

Stayed one night in this hotel, on arrival thought oh no, but once inside could not have been better. The staff are so welcoming, helpful and pleasant, No problems at all. Would definately stay there again.
