My wife I went to the Ebebezer Ale House for a friday night fish fry.We have heard great things about them and how crowded they ge. We went early and were seated quickly. The parking lot, restaurant ,and bar area was filling up fast. They have an extensive beer list of both draft and bottled beer. After deciding on a couple of beers and pretzel appetizers we ordered our fish fries. They came with the fish, coleslaw, pasta salad, and fries. There was no rye bread which is always a western NY standard. My wife also had a side salad which was served in a small ramikin. We had to ask for silverware which seemed odd. They obviously need more if they have to wait for silverware to be washed. Our server was attentive, despite having a table of thirteen women behind us.They were loud and annoying .Maybe the hostess should have seated another larger party in that area instead of a deuce.A little common sense goes a long way. While we weren't impressed with our fish and it is a stretch to give them and average rating overall.I was impressed with the Beer list instead of asking the server which always seems to be a problem elsewhere.I might return to try their other menu items but ,not the fish fry.Perhaps lunch or some beers and snacks.
