Went to dinner last night to this restaurant. The attmosphere was pleasant, adequate, nothing exceptional- table clothes on the tables. There was a baby grand piano, and someone playing the whole night which was very enjoyable. The food and service was excellent! At the beginning of the meal, they bring you a complementary plate with chicken pate and two pieces of bread with cheese on it. We don't eat meat and so they took the plate back, took off the pate and added two slices of tomato with mazzarella on it. My filet of sole entre was delicate and delicious as was my husbands salmon dish. Mine came with a large side of mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. His just came on a bed of spinach. An additional carb would have been appreciated. At the end of the meal they provide each table with a complimentary plate of biscotti's AND a complimentary small glass of homemade pepermint-chello, which was also delicious! A nice surprise. We were able to find parking on the street. The chef came out several times and asked how things were, which is always appreciated. The restaurant was crowded, so reservations are encouraged. There apeared to be many people who come there regularly. The age bracket of the patrons were older, if you are 60, be prepared to be part of the younger crowd! That said, i would defitely return, as the food and service were really great.
