I had a recent midweek Winter 2 night stay at Cuomo's Cove in the Revere Suite with my girlfriend, which was part of a fantastic Groupon deal and is exactly as advertised in the description and pictures. This was one of the most memorable and romantic vacations because of the lodging. It had a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom, a secondary separate bathroom downstairs that had a shower with 2 heads and a bidet (refreshing for a first timer), and a great deck for an unbelievable view of the stars and mountains. The location was conveniently located 5 minutes to both Windham Skiing Resort and the (small) main area of town. The main town had some pretty good restaurants (Michael's Diner, Neopalitanos, and Cave Mountain Brewing Co). If you're staying mid-week and looking for a crazy night life, then this is not the place or vacation for you. However, if you're a couple living in the greater NYC region like my girlfriend and I looking for a momentary lapse in urban living, then I highly recommend a stay at Cuomo's Cove.

Room Tip: Didn't see a fitness center or swimming pool, but didn't want to bring down the rating b/c p...

Cuomo's cove is family owned, and has all the touches of hard working caring people. Jason and Nicole are really great, they take good care of their property and are really a pleasure. We rented a 3 bedroom (Lincoln cottage) for 4 nights. Great fireplace ( plenty of supplied firewood), plus central heat, so cozy, everything is there in the kitchen too, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and of coarse oven and dishwasher. You can really be comfortable for an extended stay.

Check in and check out was easy.Cabin had an outdoor Jacuzzi, we didn't use it though.
We loved the proximity to route 23, great little strip for pizza, dinner, Italian restaurant ect.

About 3 minutes from Windham mountain. Went Skiing 3 days straight.

I would definitely return, why not, Id rather give my vacation $ to nice people.

Room Tip: Bring food. Nearby shopping is sparse.

After staying at this location I can say that the grounds are picturesque and that's about it. Withing the units you see 70's style bathrooms and toilets, clogged drains and toilets, light switched that lead to nowhere and turn on nothing. On the balconies, most lights don't work, fireplace flues are clogged and the rooms get very smokey. The heating system is old and cannot be properly controlled, and the lack of gutters on the building makes entering and exiting quite treacherous. This place could be a hidden gem if the owners would invest in some much needed upgrades and maintenance. Also, if you don't want cell service or wifi, this place is for you. there is nothing there. I see the other positive review on the place, but if you are used to nice hotels, don't stay here.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we know how busy you are so appreciate you taking the time to discuss your concerns. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, and would like to respond to some of the items that you had issues with in the hopes of clearing some of them up.

The bathrooms aren't from the 70's, we built the building in the late 90's, and our bathrooms are ceramic tiled unlike some hotels that use inserts.
We never have any issues with plumbing except for when a guest flushes too much and/or clogs the toilet, which is bound to happen here and there.
The building was built to have the option of opening up all or part of the building so that if a large family or family reunion was to happen that you would have the space and that is why you were not able to see lights going on when you were flipping switches. As far as the fireplaces, these are REAL fireplaces and not inserts, therefore the draw on the chimney is effected by the chimney temp as well as the weather (wind, etc which can blow back down the chimney).
There are two heating systems in every suite, the first is a Monitor to conserve energy and in addition, then each room has electric baseboards as well. Within each room tbere is also a thermostat to individually control the temp.
Due to the mountain location most of our area gets little to poor cell reception and there is not too much we can do to control this and we have run into the same issue with Wifi but we agree that this is an issue and we are working with several suppliers to find a solution. In the meantime we do have WIFI in our common room in the barn building for guest use.

Again we appreciate your feedback and take all reviews into consideration to better our guests stays. Do not hesitate to contact our manager to discuss any of this further.

I JUST Stayed at the Lincoln Log Cabin jan 14-16 and everything about it was perfect. Literally everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation. The place was spotless. Every time you leave they clean out the Jacuzzi for the next guest. I am most defiantly coming back. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone. The owners cant get any sweeter, I left something their and were currently in the process of returning it back to me . Nothing but pleasure.

My boyfriend and I booked the Revere Suite here back in September for two nights with a living social voucher I bought. We come from Boston, MA so it was a bit of a drive (also we stopped at the Howe Taverns on the way) and we checked in later then expected but my oh my! This place is a GEM!

First the owners are wicked friendly and super helpful if you need anything. Plus they didn't mind us checking in late (and even tried to reach us at my cellphone when we didn't show up to make sure there wasn't a mistake).

Now back to the Revere Suite...literally a piece of heaven. The suite has EVERYTHING you need. The layout of the place is really nice and open, very spacious! It's great for a couple's romantic get away, it has a full kitchen with all the appliances, utensils, and kitchen tools you'd need (plus dining ware and silverware)! They even had wine glasses! We made all our meals here, lunch, breakfast, and dinner, it was wonderful!

Moving on...the living room was so cozy! A huge couch that wraps around the room and a fireplace, plus the large TV (we didn't use the TVs much). Plus if you're a fan of star gazing and don't get to see the REAL beauty of the stars (we live in the city and most of the time lights obscure them) then you'll LOVE the back door that leads out to the deck (with grill if you're into BBQ) and star gaze from there (my boyfriend did)! It was breath-taking, we saw more then a few shooting stars.

The full bathroom downstairs should be in EVERY couples home. Besides having the best amenities in there as well, half of the bathroom was the full glass shower...with double shower-heads! This was such a highlight of the suite for me, it's such a luxurious feature.

Upstairs there is the slate Jacuzzi tub, another amazing luxurious feature. We actually used this as we watched movies form RedBox (best way I have watched a film yet). There is also another half bath upstairs so you don't need to keep going up and down the stairs. Finally the bed was so comfortable, I slept so deeply here (though may also have to do with such a peaceful atmosphere). Waking in the morning was so nice, the light, landscape and scenery all around you is gorgeous.

If you also want to know what's in the area, there's mountains and paths to hike, horseback riding, and lots of sightseeing! A great area if you're looking for a secluded getaway or breath of fresh air away from the city.

When we stayed here we had all the peace in the world, I had a lovely time. I would highly recommend going here and checking out the Revere Suite - as I will most likely visiting again we may even make it a annual place to visit!

Our best thanks and wishes to the owners! - Sarah & Bobby

This place is clean, eight of us stayed in Washington Suite, and we had a blast. The owners are very helpful, whenever we have problems or question, they are there to help. The Jacuzzi is comfortable, especially on a clear sky night, we were sitting in the tub outside, glazing the stars, quite an experience! The bathroom facilities are really clean as well, the owners really kept the place neat. I lost my keys to the place, and the owners went out of their way to ship the keys back to me. I really think this is a nice place to stay for a relaxing weekend.

My wife and I recently stayed in a suite for three nights to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. This was the second year going to the Cove to celebrate our anniversary. Last year we chose a suite that had a Jacuzzi tub in the room, while this year we opted for a room with an outdoor hot tub. Either option provides one with a very nice room that makes you feel at home at a very reasonable price. The suites are very clean and the hosts are extremely accommodating. The setting is incredible, with beautiful mountain views, very private, quiet, and secluded, yet just a mile or two to the village of Windham. I highly recommend this place for any occasion. We will definitely be back next year to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary.
