“avoid the resturaunt”
Reviewed 30 September 2012

After years of driving by the Point Lookout my wife and I stopped there today for lunch.

What a mistake we made!!!

We had the the meatloaf special??? what made it special was our question.

Was it the fact The waiter never asked us for our drink order other than water?

Was it he fact it took almost 30 mins to come out?

Was it the fact when it did come out it was cold?

Was it the child size portion?

Was it that we were offered no salad no bread or no vegatable?

Or it could have been that mystery BROWN stuff that was supposed to be gravy?

It could have been the very intentive waiter who never came back to our table or the concerened Manager? who came when we were ready to leave and we told him of our concerns, he offered a cup of coffee as we were leaving. never offering any other type of refund.

“Great View, Friendly Staff, Very Good Burger”
Reviewed 2 September 2012

Unexpected stop for late lunch over Labor Day weekend. Gorgeous views on a bright, clear, sunny day. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Seated outdoors. Good selection of bottled beers. Very good angus burger, medium rare, beefy & juicy. Itallian tuna on excellent baguette, served with mandoline-sliced fried potatoes. Pleasant lunch, good value-for-money.

“A little treasure”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

Loved the quality, freshness & taste of the food. Excellent variety - pasta dishes (whole grain too!), seafood, beef, chicken, vegetarian. They use local produce where possible. Food is cooked perfectly. Recommend New Orleans Shrimp dish. Wings in the bar are great too! Many condiments are home-made. Salads are excellent. Portions are filling.

“Spectacular”
Reviewed 9 July 2012

My husband and I just come home from a one night stay at the Inn. The owners and staff are very friendly. The room view of the 5 states is just spectacular. We are looking forward to returning next July to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The rooms are a Victorian bed and breakfast style and very clean. The entire establishment is clean and enjoyable to be in.
