“A lovely getaway”

We stopped by on our way back from Lake George to New York. It is just two hours away from the city. It is a family run business, so you know the place is taken good care of. We love the old-fashion decor and the spacious room. And just for the two of us, the hostress made a campfire, and provided complimentary S'mores! Their complimentary breakfast was amazing as well, totally worth $20 if you want to get the same quality stuff in NYC!

We have stayed here twice in the past few months, most recently for my sister's wedding last weekend. The service was impeccable, the setting magical, and the happiness for which the inn is named was evident everywhere. Cannot wait to go back again next summer!

A delightful B&B in The Catskills not far from Woodstock and several other small NY villages. The breakfast choices are different and wonderful each day! Also close to several ski areas. Room rate also includes complementary soda, juice, cookies and muffins at any time of the day.

We recently stayed at this B&B for the second time and we were very happy with that decision. We looked at many other hotels but decided to stay here again since we enjoyed our stay so much last time. The entire staff is great and the facility is very nice and cozy. Our room was spacious and nice and breakfast was good each morning. I love all the teas they have available and it's nice that they leave the kitchen open and available to guests all day for drinks and use of the microwave, etc. We won't need to even look for housing next time we come to town--we'll be back to the Allegria!!

My girlfriend and I adored Albergo Allegria. Fantastic value, fantastic food (we LOVED the granola) and a great base to explore charming Windham and the surrounding Catskills. But what really set it apart was the wonderful welcome from the whole Albergo family (and not to forget Icy), and all the little touches. DVDs every night, s'mores and a bottle of wine with other guests by the campfire- just heaven. I think I might cross the Atlantic to stay here for a ski weekend!

We stayed here on Fall foliage season. This inn is beautiful. It is old but they have kept it very nicely.

Our room was nice and clean. Bathroom was clean and spotless but some areas may need to update. Bed and pillows was comfy. We slept like babies. Our window had a view of maple tree whose leaves were turning golden. They also give free DVDs for the rooms. They have extensive selection of over 900 movies. We watched one movie.

Breakfast was the best part of the stay. They have daily made to order menu along with buffet.
They offered 2-3 kind of omelettes with side of meat or fries. They also offered waffle with any style of eggs. They also had buffet which had fresh fruit salad, cereals, breads and bagels, Juice, muffin and some more things. Everything was delicious.

They also have 24 hour pantry where you can get soda, juice or lemonade for free. It has microwave and fridge as well.

We also met with their dog "Icy". He lives in the next building. I am not sure if it was owner's dog. He was cute. :)

I would def recommend this place.

Room Tip: We had May 02 room. It was small but nice
