We found this B&B by chance after being disappointed at the hotel where we had reservations and what a happy accident! The room was immaculate and the bed was the best I've ever had in a B&B. But NOTHING (even the breathtaking views and setting) compared with the morning breakfasts. Would unquestionably stay there again and recommend it to al our friends and family. A real delight!

My husband and I and another couple spent 1 night (Aug. 20) at the lovely B&B. Our room was very large and immaculate. Bed linens were beautiful and the bed couldn't have been more comfortable. Everyone was pleasant and cordial. Service was excellent. The best part was the breakfast--so delicious. Everything we had was wonderful. Terrific B&B.

My wife and I recently spent 5 days at the Albergo Allegria Inn in Windham NY and completely enjoyed ourselves. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing get-away and found it here. The Inn is beautifully restored, capturing and maintaining much of the original woodwork and charm. Our room was titled "Spring", a two room suite in the front of the Inn, which included its own private porch. It was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or reading a book and drinking a glass of wine after dinner. We enjoyed the coffee and cookies available in the kitchen every afternoon. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast each morning offered a nice selection of fruits, pastires, and hot or cold dishes. Lenore & Vito Radelich and their entire staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and our stay pleasant. There is shopping in Windham and surrounding towns, though we did notice that many shop close Monday & Tuesdays in the off season. For those that golf, Windham Country Club is across the street from the Inn. Tee times can be booked through the Inn at a discount. Windham CC is well maintained and was enjoyable to play.

We have been guests at the Albergo Allegria for over ten years while living in Scardale, NY, Saratoga Springs and currently Charlotte, NC. Over time, we have stayed in almost every room and have NEVER been disappointed, although our favorites are the suite in the front of the house and any one of the Carriage House accomodations. No detail is overlooked from superb service, immaculate conditions everywhere and the warm welcome of the owners, Vito and Lenore. As others have mentioned, the breakfasts are generous and gourmet, leisurely and especially enjoyable outside on the dining porch on those perfect, clear mountain days. Our travels have taken us to many hotels, resorts and inns.....The Albergo Allegria has always remained at the top of our list. Windham offers everything within a short distance......Windham Country Club across the street offers great golf, a new clubhouse and a spectacular deck, Ski Windham has new ski lifts, trails and good services and the variety of restaurants in and around town offer something for everyone. The new micro brewpub on Main Street offers great craft beers and terrific food with a band and/or DJ on certain nights...very kid-friendly! Make a special effort to visit the Albergo during any season.......you will not be disappointed!

Albergo Allegria is one of the finest Inns I've ever stayed out. The Bed and Breakfast nesstled in the Windham Mountain Area is like a piece of Paradise. The rooms are
bright and clean with a tastefulness that I haven't seen in a long while. The breakfasts
are fantastic, not like the normal fare you see so often in hotels and inns around the world.
I've traveled extensively all over the world, and believe me you find few places like this
to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Catskill Mountains and all they have to offer.
