My wife and I were looking last night for a restaurant to have dinner but wanted to go someplace different. We remembered that Andrea,s 25 opened up in Woodbury decided to see if we could get in without a reservation. It was approximately 7:15 when we walked in. It was fairly crowded and the atmosphere was very nice-trendy looking. We waited no more than 15 minutes for a table. The food was very good with nice sized portions. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. She recommended a veal dish which was very good and served over linguini in what they called Luciana sauce and it was great! We will definitely be going back. A little pricey but worth it.

There are so many unusual and fantastic dishes at this restaurant. They treat us like family when we arrive. Maybe we have been lucky, but service has never disappointed. They make everything fresh....everything. My mom has a serious food allergy. She asked if they can make a certain dish without seafood components. They didn't bat an eye and said that since they make everything fresh, they can ensure that any reasonable request can be accommodated. As to complaints of noise, I admit that I like a lively scene. Again...my favorite Italian

I recently ate here for the first time with my family and I am not in a hurry to return. The room is attractive and appealing. The menu is varied and stresses that staff is happy to prepare any dish that they have the ingredients for. Most of the food was good not extraordinary but tasty and well prepared . The calamari was too salty to eat, the stuffed artichoke was terrific, two shrimp dishes were good especially the dijon shrimp, the burnt green beans were not edible absolutely charred. The problem was the wait staff, the waiter seemed annoyed anytime he was asked for anything such as missing flatware, napkins, information about the menu. He didn't know the prices of the specials, and kept rushing everyone to order. Before I sat down he was trying to take a drink order, since I didn't order quickly enough for him he removed my stemware. When I asked very basic questions about the wine he told me he didn't know anything about the wines on the menu. Though to his credit he did try to get some information about a wine I expressed an interest in. He was serving food by leaning across the table pushing other diners aside or handing us the plates to pass down to others. In general his gruffness , lack of knowledge and attitude detracted from the dining experience. Given the competion of good restaurants in the area, you can miss this experience.
