Very quiet town, Aloxe Corton, but only minutes away from the highway to the south. Beaune is a 5 minute drive so you could have dinner there since there is no restaurant at the hotel. I would strongly recommend to stay in the neighbourhood and have dinner at La Buissonnière in Buisson, a few km up north, excellent value for money. So is the Villa Louise in my opinion, cosy country house, unspoiled charm with views over the vineyards of Corton. Excellent breakfast. Try the wines of Louise Perrin in the cellar, a nice souvenir to take home.

A very pretty hotel / B&B in the middle of Burgundy. A great place to be based with lovely views to enjoy an afternoon drink with.

The staff were very friendly and spoke English.

The rooms are clean and a decent size and the bed was very large. I'm not sure what it would be like to stay here if it was very hot as there is no air-con in the room and if you want the window open, there is no curtain to draw closed at the same time.

There is free wi-fi in the room, but you can only use it on 1 device at the time and it's a bit temperamental.

We had breakfast here one day and ate in Beaune another. Very traditional, delicious French breakfast, would recommend having it at least once while staying.

We would definitely stay here again if we were in the region.

We were simply blown away by the Villa Louise from the moment we arrived. Surrounded by vine yards as far as the eye can see, the hotel is set in beautiful scenery, including its own garden and vine yards. There is no restaurant but the near by town has great restaurants. Make a trip down to Beaune and Chassagne-Montrachet for the true Burgendy wine tasting experience. The region has some quite exceptional whites to offer. A fantastic hotel, anyone whos heart is not melted by it does not know true rustic charm. The perfect stop over for that road trip to Monaco! Enjoy!

I have never been to a hotel that has quite taken my breath away with the romance of it all, quite like Villa Louise. Wow. We arrived around 8pm after a long drive from St Tropez and the sun was starting to set. And how fortuitous that timing was. Got there to see the sun setting over fields & fields of green vineyards, tinged amber from the sunset. How beautiful, I remember walking out into the garden and just standing there taking it all in. Such a peaceful truly amazing place. And our room - well it is called the Pigeonnier room. Which is French for dovecote - and it really was a grown up size dovecote! Situated away from the main house and built above the spa area, it is a hexagonal shaped room with a pointed roof and although a little cosy and bijou, you couldn't be more private and away from it all. Fell in love with that room, size really wasn't an issue and there is a super big terrace outside to make up for it, perfect to watch the sun rise in the morning above the infinity vineyards. Super service - we arrived at 8 and had phoned ahead to ask them to make dinner reservations for us in nearby Beaune. However on arrival, the setting was so perfect we got swept up in it all and just wanted to have a cheese plate and a bottle of the delicious local Aloxe Corton wine. A wise decision - we ate until darkness fell and then retreated inside the main house to enjoy a nightcap in the huge living area of the property, fantastic eclectic room dripping with antiques and other such French fancies. Breakfast was delightful. Love this hotel and truly hope we can use it as a half way stop again very soon

Room Tip: If there's just two of you and you don't mind getting cosy, it has to be the Pigeonnier room...

We had a suite onto the garden and it was nice. The staff are relaxing and helpful with good honest recommenations of places to go. Our main problem was internet , in spire of what the hotel says it is virtually non existant and i know other guests struggled too. I had 4 computers with me but could only access at the reception desk, other guests confirmed they too could not access it. , it did not seem like a one off problem. The hotel is in great surroundings but at 227 euros a night there are other places to stay and i dont think it offers enough value for money. In addition both nights we had different babies above our room which woke us up screaming in the early hours

We stayed with friends and and were given three ground floor rooms, two with direct access to the beautiful garden. The hotel has a wonderfully welcoming and relaxing ambiance, with stylish and comfortable decoration. The multi-lingual staff are quietly efficient and helpful in making restaurant proposals and arrangements. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to the day.

The location is great; in the small village Aloxe-Corton, surrounded by vineyards and close to all the amenities of Beaune. Just a word of caution that the entrance to the car park is quite narrow, so approach it slowly.

We all enjoyed our stay immensely and would certainly return.

We loved staying here. The service was excellent and the location is perfect. Having breakfast in the garden every morning viewing the beautiful vineyards of Burgundy. This is exactly what I pictured the south of France to be like. I would stay here again anytime. Loved this place!
