We spent a week. Very cozy and cute, beautiful views. It was snowing when we got there and very cold. From January 29 to January 5 2013. We stayed in the 2 bedroom and a loft. “Nice huge Jacuzzi in the master bedroom, “very clean” I did not give it a 5 stars because is a little outdated but other than that is a charm, Breath taken views right on sugar mountain. Not much to do around there, we drove an hour and a half to go to the Biltmore winery it was amazing Wine tasting a tour of the mansion and the winery. Worth seen, was not too pleased with the sugar mountain ski resort, we drove half an hour to the Appalachian ski mountain resort and we had an amazing time skiing there. For New Year’s Eve we drove to Ashville about an hour and a half, and had a great time at a local bar and restaurant where we paid a 15.00 cover charge included champagne and a Jazz band.
I found everything was far away; it took us two hours to get to the closest airport in Charlotte.
I recommend this resort for a nice quiet get away. One more thing the staffs at the resort were very welcoming and friendly. Over all we really enjoyed our stay.
