We recently stayed in the Beaufort Harbor Suites for a weekend. The suites are great: huge, comfortable, and clean. It was nice to have a full kitchen right in your room but tucked away from the bedroom. The location was just fine in that it's a five minute walk to downtown. On the downside, the balconies in the rooms are tiny--ours could not fit a chair on it and faced the unappealing quickie mart next door. Some of the balconies in the rooms across the hall were larger--as in you could fit two chairs on them--and faced some trees, so ask about this when you reserve if this is important to you. Unfortunately, the large shared balcony did not quite make up for this because it is on a busy road and is quite loud. All in all, it's a good value for your money, but if you want a quiet, scenic place, best to look elsewhere.
