Very nice Inn! Clean and comfortable. Great view on the inlet and all the docked sailboats. Even though it was the off season the Inn was fully functional. The breakfast was good and again the scenery while eating breakfast can't be beat!!

We are on a road trip where we don't know where the day will take us. Using Trip Advisor again we found well thought out place to stay for the night. At this time of year finding a room has been easy and the prices have been reasonable. We had a lovely large room with a very comfortable bed. There were good pillows, adequate blankets etc. For bath takers...the tub in our room did not have a reclining back. Relaxing in the tub was harder without that. There was also a balcony. At this time of year it was not used except to step out and look over the water. With few vehicles or people now it was quite lovely. Most places where we have stayed are simpler and do not have windows that open or balconies so this was a treat! The cost during the season must be higher than now. We were most pleased. The employees were very friendly. Breakfast could be had in your room if requested or they have a lovely sunny dining area upstairs.

We stayed in one of the fireplace rooms on the first floor. From arrival to departure, everything was great. The room was spacious with a comfortable king bed, sitting area with couch and recliner, and deck with a nice view of the water. Continental breakfast of muffins, bagels, juice, and coffee or tea was very tasty. We had it delivered to our room once, and ate upstairs twice. The view from the loft up there is great. All the staff that we encountered were very friendly and offered to help with anything we needed. Al in all, the Inlet Inn is a great place to stay, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants that Beaufort has to offer.

Just a charming place to stay. Staff is so very friendly & helpful. We had 2nd floor, waterfront view, with king bed that was so comfy. Nice sitting area in the room and a lovely deck to relax on & watch the boat activity. The third floor breakfast area is very nice, but we had ours delivered to room & enjoyed lounging in pj's a little longer. And what a view from the widows walk. The location is perfect for enjoying the business area of Beaufort, which we fell in love with. We were only there 2 nights, but hubby said he could definitely spend a week - that's saying a lot, cause he gets bored easily. We really hope to go back to the Inlet & Beaufort.

We stayed at this relatively new inn located on the waterfront of historic Beaufort. We were impressed with the staff's courteousness and genuine friendliness. We had booked a rear facing room but because of availability, we were 'comp'ed' with a waterfront-facing room at no extra charge. A much appreciated and totally unexpected perk. The room was very clean, spacious and nicely appointed with a private balcony--an excellent value for the money.

My family and I just returned from a wonderful visit to Beaufort and the Inlet Inn. The inn was very conveniently located and within walking distance to shops and great restaurants. Our room was located on the top floor with a wonderful window seat overlooking the waterfront. We had two queen beds which was perfect for our family. Our son enjoyed using the window seat as his bed. We were quite comfortable.

We chose to have our breakfast delivered to our room the next morning and were pleased with the quick service. The only "negative" I would say is the breakfast. I consider a deluxe continental breakfast to be more than a bagel and muffin, but what we had was good.

The staff is very friendly and we didn't have any issues with check-in or check-out. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. My family was very pleased with my choice of the Inlet Inn.

This was a great stay, very enjoyable indeed. The bed was a king and extremely comfortable. We had a harbour view room on the second floor which was excellent.

The check-in desk-clerk (Sheryl) was so helpful, friendly and welcoming and could not have been nicer. There was a great rooftop view room open to all guests, where you could get a great view of the harbour and the sunset. Sunrise is behind the building so is not viewable from the rooms.

Breakfast was included in the price and was good and, if you want, you can order this to be brought to your room and, with such a large and delightful balcony, we opted for this option and ate our breakfast whilst watching the boats in the harbour... quite idyllic. There was a fridge and coffee making facilities in the room along with a hairdryer so, all you could need. Sheryl was also kind enough to get us a bottle opener and wine glasses for our wine. Perfect.

Negatives = None whatsoever.

Highly recommend this Inn, it was perfect.
