Traveling up the S.E. coast with no particular agenda we drove into Beaufort, drove past the Inlet Inn, liked the close proximity (across the street) to the waterfront, tours and eateries, so stopped with hopes they had a room available. Front desk lady was very welcoming and booked us into a lovely second floor room with balcony and street view. Room was large, clean and well appointed. Grounds were lovely, well tended. All members of staff were friendly. Continental breakfast delivered at our call in morning we a lovely treat of muffins, bagels, orange Juice and coffee. Location so close to fun things to do made this a great choice.

First time in Beaufort, found this hotel on line and checked Trip Advisor for reviews. It turns out to be a great choice. Rooms are spacious with a great view of the water and boats. Would recommend it for everyone looking for a quaint place to stay in Beaufort.

We arrived after ten pm, but received a warm welcome. We had a large clean king room on the second floor with a good view of the harbor on Taylor Creek and Carrot Island. Having a free delivered breakfast was a treat for us. Muffins, OJ and coffee. We also had a coffee pot in our room which was nice.

Being within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops in Beaufort was definitely a benefit of the Inlet Inn.

If I could have rated the room 4.5 I would have. The quality of the coffee could have been better.

Room Tip: Ask for a habor view room.

This place is so pretty & well run we were feeling so spoiled. It is very clean & in excellent condition. The location is ideal, right on the waterfront, close to shops & restaurants. The room was large & beautifully furnished with a nice big balcony to enjoy the view of all the activities in town.

Room Tip: First & second floors have private balconies.

We enjoyed two nights at the hotel in a waterfront room. The room was clean and spacious as well as quiet. There was also a dehumidifier and air conditioner in the room as well, although we shut off the dehumidifier because it was noisy and we wanted the fresh air from the windows. There was also friendly staff. Breakfast was muffins, coffee and bagels.

We especially enjoyed the widow's walk balcony that had a great view.
