“Snowboarding fun”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

Good prices for pretty much everything. You can go overpay at sugar or you can get a good price at beech and pretty much have an overall better experience. BTW a 12 oz can of beer at sugar is 6.50 only 2.00 at beech. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

“My first time on ski's”
Reviewed 27 February 2014

Beech Mountain ski resort was a great place to visit. We went to ski school to learn the fundamentals and we had a great time. The staff was patient and professional with us.

“Great time skiing ... less crowded than Sugar Mtn.”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

Our second season skiing in NC. Traveled from Florida. Had a great experience with ski rentals and skiing on Beech Mtn. Bunny hill area is pretty small, but fortunately we are past that point. Lines were a lot shorter than those experienced at Sugar Mtn. The runs were a good and the lodge was large. Maybe it was just me, but the skiers seemed more courteous, but perhaps it was that there were separate play areas (jumps for snowboarders) to use, if they choose.

“Good staff”
Reviewed 18 February 2014

This is our first time at this resort and we picked it because they had a full-day ski class for kids. Because of the very mild weather and it being early in the season...slopes were mostly clear...my kids (2 aged 8 and 10) got an excellent instructor to themselves. They had fun and learned. Kudos to the staff! Will be returning!

“Hey, at least they have a bar!”
Reviewed 11 February 2014 via mobile

Some good but short runs. Much better jumps than at Sugar for those trying to make it to the X GAMES. There's a bar at the top which I think is fairly new. Have a few rounds of local brew and then stumble down the hill.
