“Beautiful Conservatory”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

I took my mother here in October - several plants were dormant, but it was still beautiful. The water features are nice and the orchid conservatory was amazing. Looking forward to visiting again in the Spring!

“Lovely gem near the North/South Carolina line”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

Some botanical gardens are very precisely, carefully planned. They don't have a very organic feel, their subject matter notwithstanding. This place is planned, yet has an organic feel to it. It is organized, but not maniacally so. Very creative, very fun to explore.

The orchid conservatory has to be seen to be believed. Period. Words simply will not do it justice.

Multiple fountains, quite lovely, tucked away in various places. Very good use of fountains and water in general.

They do weddings here. It would definitely make for a memorable experience.

Yes, the location is out-of-the-way and off-the-beaten-path. The best places always are. Go for a drive in the country; you won't regret it.

“Lovely garden”
Reviewed 5 October 2013

Though not overly large this is a lovely botanical garden with lots of water features. It also has one of the best orchid houses I have every visited even though it is one of the smallest

“Great place to visit!”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

This was my first visit and I was really glad that we went. The orchid house alone is well worth the visit. I came away with beautiful photographs so be sure to bring a camera. It was a hot day so we didn't see all of the grounds but what we did see was very nice. I would love to see the gardens in spring bloom.
Be sure to visit the gift shop, a lot of unique gifts reasonably priced.
We also got a AAA discount on our entry fee.

“Only been at Christmas, but fun!!!”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

We have been the last three Christmas's, each time the Friday after Thanksgiving. It is now tradition. We have a great time. There is a craft for the kids to do, in addition to walking around and seeing all the lights and how beautiful it is. In fact, have never seen during the day, only dusk to night. We have three boys, 10, 8 & 5 and they look forward to it. They cannot wait to see Santa, and he has been the same Santa every year we have been, which makes it nice for pictures and keeping the spirit of Christmas going. The boys love to buy hot cocoa and do the craft. Great activity for the family and really gets you in the spirit, as well as gets the creative juices flowing.

Also, look online and you will find BOGO entrance tickets - don't pay full price!!!
