Food was great at reasonable price. Just pizza is very greasy and overcooked on bottom. Service was not the best, teenage girls running things are paying more attention to their personal conversations and not real friendly. Table not checked on regularly even though they aren't real busy. Plenty of seating and parking

This is hands down the best pie in town. No chain pizza for us since we discovered this place! We had the sausage, onion, and green pepper. Excellent. Tasted like they make their dough from scratch. I think this spot has officially won the "best pizza in Gaston County" for the last several years.

My wife and I moved to the area from NY and really missed the food options, especially decent pizza which we had not been able to find. Then Jerry opened this gem of a pizza joint and we have become regulars. About 18 months ago he expended and offered sit down with Italian dinner options, and again we have become regulars: the salads are always fresh, nightly specials are available in addition to the regular menu. We have probably eaten here thirty times (restaurant) and never once been disappointed in the food taste or quality. Pizza orders at least once a week - try the house pizza with sausage, tomato, eggplant; it is outstanding! Service? Definitely not five star, but friendly and they check back regularly, unpretentious as fits a reasonable night out.

Handy location when staying at the nearby Hampton Inn. And we can only speak to the pizza by the slice, but that was very good.

They have par-cooked pies that they then add whatever topping you want to, then heat them up. Interesting approach we hadn't ever seen before.

Portion sizes are crazy big. We each ordered two slices thinking they'd be, you know, human scaled. But each turned out to be a quarter of a medium-sized pizza. One each might have been enough. Splitting a third between us surely would have been enough food give we'd been driving all day versus, say, running a marathon.

As it was, we were out of there, tax and tip, for $25 for dinner. Not bad including two Peroni bottled beers. Now, if they just had a nice selection of local craft beers on tap ...

The pizza is my favorite in the Charlotte area besides Luigi's. Warning: Deep dish takes 40 min per pizza and 20 min per slice, they bring it to you straight from the oven. The pasta selections are a bit expensive but they taste better than Olive Garden.
