Very tasty. Curry chicken salad on greens very good and my hubby really liked the Ruben. Parking available which is important on a busy weekend!

Great little place for breakfast. We usually go at least once a month. Our last visit we noticed the TripAdvisor sticker on the door. Now everyone will know. Good quality food that is very tasty. Our last visit the oven broke and it took a little longer than usual but it was still a the great food we love. Nice variety of breakfast item and the staff is very friendly. I hope to see this place move into larger space in the future.

The wait for food is at and hour and there are empty tables. I'd bail if we hadn't paid already. There absolutly no hustle in the kitchen -- I can see and hear in there quite well. Don't bother.

The spicy huevos with the crunchy taco layers and perfectly cooked eggs were the best brunch dish I have had in a restaurant! This laid back rustic casual dining venue - order at the counter, get your own drinks - has a great bustling atmosphere on a Sunday morning. The local diners on the porch were friendly and entertaining. What didn't we like? Well a minor note, the coffee wasn't the best but the waiter did come round to offer refills, nice given that we could go back to the urn ourselves. We would definitely go back if ever through Black Mountain again.

A little off the 'main stream' for restaurants in Black Mountain however very easy to find. Do make the effort to check it out. The breakfast sandwich - egg, cheese, bacon on a lovely homemade biscuit - WOW. Coffee was freshly brewed and the self service refills most appreciated. Only one hostess, cashier, order taker on duty the morning we were there and she handled it all flawlessly! We ate on the porch to enjoy a cool but sunny morning. I was thrilled to know they serve breakfast 'all day'...up until closing time at 4:00 p.m. Will definitely go back to Louise's Kitchen on my next Black Mountain visit. A real class act in a very relaxing and laid back atmosphere.
