The Dripolator Coffeehouse
Certificate of Excellence
Description: Proudly supporting your coffee habit since 1999. We buy some of the finest green coffee beans available and roast them off-site on an American-made Diedrich roaster. As roasters, we deeply respect farmers' dedication to excellence and sustainability, and we strive to honor their hard work by carefully developing each harvest's optimal flavors. As baristas, we are invested in brewing coffee that showcases nature's genius and in sharing it meticulously and enthusiastically with you. As community members, we strive to forge rich connections and to provide a third place that fosters creative interaction and supports the vitality of this beautiful place. We're located in the quaint downtown historic district of Black Mountain and offer delectable homemade pastries (GF options), fresh fruit smoothies, and coffee frappes in addition to all of the traditional espresso-based beverages. Free Wi-Fi, parking and outdoor seating.

A bustling little coffee shop with good coffee and a great space. Everyone from hipsters to old guys to mamas with their kids hang out here and it just has a great feeling. Chat with some friends, work on your computer, watch the world go by...

I wish coffee places like this existed all over the place as you can tell there is a lot of love and pride put into their lattes. They have wonderful pastry offerings and any kind of coffee or tea you can order, they can make it. They are patient and helpful if you're not sure what you'd like. You can tell they try to keep their carbon footprint to a minimum, too as they try to recycle and compost as much as possible. Great place to hang out and read or catch up with friends. This is yet another reason to spend the day or weekend in Black Mountain.

We pulled into Black Mountain off the highway in order to find a Fed Ex drop off. While my companion went in search, I relaxed at this charming little coffee shop. The coffee ROCKED, and I loved their collection of Hall Dripolators.

This will be a regular stop to and from Asheville from now on, especially when OOT visitors are with us, and we all need some caffeine for the road.

Wow! Great place to stop, relax, take in the local color. Nice little coffee shop, the kind we had before the BIG Chains turned coffee into a production line of products. Quaint, nice music, and great fair trade coffee. You'll miss it if you're not looking for it! But it's worth the peek inside.

I go to the Dripolator a few times per week for coffee and dessert. I love that they have MULTIPLE gluten free options (and of course "regular" desserts for the husband). The "Cortado" is my drink of choice although many of their specialty drinks look delicious, if not caloric.
