“Location, Beauty, and Great Hosts”

Joined another couple for a two day getaway in Blowing Rock. What a find! Reasonable rates, convenient location walking distance to downtown, comfortable and clean room with comfortable bedding. The grounds are exceptionally beautiful, with landscaping anyone would admire. We enjoyed the patio, nicely furnished, with coffee in the morning for guests. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. The property has been in the family for many years (I believe 34?).. Rooms are older, but have been updated as necessary. Will definitely stay here if we return to the area.

Room Tip: Most rooms on ground floor, a few upstairs, so specify if physically limited.

Great location within easy walk to downtown. Spotless rooms, and the grounds are wonderful! Nice homey feel, locally owned. We usually stay at a large chain, but this was so much better. If you are looking for modern decor, this is not your place. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever had. Wonderful outdoor sitting areas. They don't serve breakfast, but there is coffee on the beautiful little patio. It was raining all evening & we had the covered patio all to ourselves and made microwave s'mores, read our books and visited with the resident cat.We will definitely be back and stay in the adorable on the grounds.

This is our favorite place to stay in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. It is family owned and operated right in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock. The family takes an interest in all their guests and treats everyone as their own family. We have stayed here for the last ten years. The rooms are so nicely decorated, immaculate and comfortable. They have been in the Better Homes and Gardens magazine. The landscaping is just amazing (they work on the grounds constantly). We feel like we are at home and love to come back and visit every year. Thanks Azalea Garden for being YOU!!!!

My partner and I had initially booked a highly rated, moderately priced hotel
on a busy road too far from the historic area for our tastes.

When the said hotel graciously allowed us to cancel, we drove to the beautiful
village and found this charming property.

We loved that we could walk a couple of blocks away and begin browsing the wealth of
shops that are in Blowing Rock. We also were most pleased with the moderate price
that made the Azalea Garden Inn a very good value.

The service was very friendly and accommodating, the room most comfortable and
the gardens were glorious.

There are more luxurious places to stay in Blowing Rock, but for value, location,
and service this charming inn would be hard to beat.

Beautiful gardens and homey feel. Went to look at room and they booked it while we were looking. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! We were only 4 doors down from office and they could have asked. The room was outdated but the grounds were beautiful. Will probably try again but with reservations.

Stayed at the Azalea Garden in mid week in May. Check in was simple, the room was large, comfortable and spotless and nicely decorated, the landscaping was beautiful and the morning coffee was fresh. Only $86 per night, great deal.

Purpose of trip: Cooler in the Mountains. Leaving home and a hot 98' dry weather on 31 JUl 2011 we ventured to our small (20 rooms) 1 cabin retreat only 50 yards from Main Street in Blowing Rock, NC. Family owned, open late March-end of October only. Absolute clean & very comfortable. You can walk uptown for shopping or sitting in the park and watching everyone walk both sides of the streetd. If you want peace and tranqullity Blowing Rock and
the area is super. We have visted this area for over 20 years. and we live less than two hours
away.

Room Tip: Best rooms are on the end upfront. Usuaqlly, sold out two months advanced.
