“3 Night stay”

My wife & I stayed here (1st time) ...after reading the reviews from other customers we seem to notice all the rooms are different..the room we had was spacious..very clean..shower was perfect..king size bed ..a deck on the back to have morning coffee with a stream running right by ..continental breakfast each day with lots of choices..staff very friendly and helpful.

Would we stay here again..absolutely..5 stars for sure.

This hotel has beautiful very clean and well decorated rooms . The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in my life. I would have took a bath in that tub without a a second thought. The bed was awesome!! The best night sleep I have ever had when staying in a hotel ever! The staff was very friendly. We will defiantly be staying there again.

Booked this place online and it doesn't live up to the pictures on the website! It is outside entry and the rooms are tiny! It is on a very busy road and the patio overlooks an apartment complex, absolutely not the mountain scenery you would expect! This place was clean enough but well overpriced. If you are looking for a secluded mountain getaway, this is not it!

Placed my reservation online. Great atmosphere. Clean and friendly staff. Although, disappointed to find that there are gorgeous suites with hot tubs that are not available to reserve online. I tried to switch rooms, and was told there would be a two night minimum. The suite was available the day I checked in and still available the second night. Big disappointment.
Otherwise, I highly recommend. The restaurant next door Twigs, was excellent!!

First thing I noticed was that the bed was waaaayyy too large for the room. It had a king but should have had, at the most, a queen. The bed was also extremely soft, offering very little support. Not sure if it was just old or if it came that way, but either way it was not comfortable.
Second, there were a lot of pillows but no place to put them at night except on the floor or on the chairs which were also too big for the room.
Third, the breakfast was your typical continental breakfast with lots of bread but little protein. A small fridge held some small sausage biscuits like you find in a convenience store. The coffee was weak. The orange juice was good.
Fourth, being on the main road did not help during the day. There is a lot of road construction
going on at this time to widen 321, so of course the noise of the machines was constant.
Fifth, there was a deck on the back end with decent rocking chairs. Not much of a view but it was nice.
Not sure I would re-book.

This is a very beautifully redone older motel. The remodel was done nicely, beautiful exterior, nicely refinished old hardwood floors, nice tile in the bathroom, very comfy bed. But, the rooms are tiny. Barely room for a bed and two chairs. No dresser, the night stands are small dressers. There is a decent size closet but they put a frig and microwave and coffee maker right in the middle of the closet so it's hard to put much in there. Nice flatscreen on the wall.

The one other issue is that all the outlets in the room, except one in the bath are two prog so we had to charge laptops in the bathroom.

Breakfast was your typical continental, nothing bad, just nothing outstanding.

Location is an easy walk from main street, very nice location. It's on the bypass which is a bit busy during the day, but very quiet at night.

I'll be brief. The room was tiny. No room for luggage, no room for bathroom essentials. We were there three days, and housekeeping intermittently cleaned our room. The worst experience with them was when we came back to our room and found the sliding glass door and screen door (which opened directly on the back yard - we were on the first floor) standing completely open - who knows how long it had been that way. All of our belongings could have been stolen, or any sort of creature could have entered the room and joined us for the night. Ran out of white wine first night during the "wine and cheese reception" (cheddar cheese stick wrapped in plastic and some crackers)- apparently didn't want to go get another BOX from the store because they were out of it the second and third night as well. Second morning, ran out of regular coffee during the "continental breakfast" (bags of oatmeal, cereal bars, bagels, etc. with no help from the person on duty) at 8:00 AM and no move was made to secure more from either of the two "sister Inns" in the area - or the grocery store, for that matter. The receptionist the first night was great - warm, friendly, helpful. The other two days/nights very cold personalities, one disappeared from the reception desk for half an hour (outside with another employee) while the phone in the office rang and rang and I waited to ask her if our room was going to be cleaned that day at all. Unless the people in the bigger rooms or suites get better treatment than those of us paying only $100+ a night, there is clearly a terrible management problem here. Until this point our 2 week vacation was fabulous. After we arrived here, I wanted to go home after the first night but we had already paid and there were no refunds. Yes, the lobby is beautiful. Too bad everything else wrong with our stay overshadowed that lovely lobby.

Room Tip: To help you choose a good room - go somewhere else.
