We returned to this restaurant after a few years and it is still excellent. The food was perfectly prepared, starting with the flash fried Calamari with two sauces. The squid was not rubbery, as it is when overcooked, and it was delicious and so were the two sauces offered with it. My entree, the pecan-crusted grilled mountain trout with fingerling potatoes and grilled asparagus was sublime, and the "signature" lasagna and the wild mushroom and blue cheese fettuccine were equally excellent. A modest wine list yielded a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with the trout. The vanilla bread pudding with poppy seeds and bourbon sauce was also outstanding. The wait staff was competent and attentive.
