We were excited when this restaurant opened after the building sat idle for years. However, it was a disappointment.
First of all the acoustics are terrible, could not have a nice conversation with our friends because of the noise.
Secondly, it is pricey. The least expensive entrée is $15 for either chicken and dumplings or meatloaf that includes one small side. Other entrees are more into the $20+ range.
Our meals were tasty enough but my dumpling meal consisted of mostly broth. My husband's meatloaf was good but again his side of mac and cheese was very small...if they are going to give such small sides they need to use smaller bowls.
The other couple had the ribs and for $28 it consisted of 4 ribs - they liked the flavor, but coming hungry, he had to purchase another side and appetizer.
Will we go back? Probably not, unless they ease up on the pricing, sooth the noise and add another, more plentiful side.
