I was at the lounge last night, Friday the 13th with a full moon. They had 3 security guards! Ok, but one was wearing a bullet proof vest!!!! To top it off, a fight breaks out and the wanna be cop shoots one of the guys with a tazer!!!!!! Apparently security carries tasers and will pat you down and look through your car with flash lights. If you value your rights and privacy do not go there at night!!!!

The Owners and Management Team at The Phoenix would like to apologize for anyone who felt uncomfortable on this evening. We had a new security person on staff, and we had no knowledge that he was carrying a tazer. We did not authorize this, nor do we agree with this behavior. The incident did not occur on our property, however, we were greatly upset by this person's actions, and he was immediately released from employment. We hope all of our customers will feel that they can safely, and comfortably join us for Lunch, Dinner, and Live Music anytime; and we will preserve the cozy, comfy atmosphere we love and want you to have!

We enjoy finding restaurants that make delicious meals out of local produce. This is how we found The Phoenix as we googled farm to table restaurants. We cannot prove that this wasn't local, but it definitely wasn't fresh!!!

The grilled romaine was super tough and probably would have had brown edges had it not been grilled. My Salmon (local?) was over salted and skin was left on part of the bottom - Yuck!!! My husband's entree had chicken with rubbery uncooked skin and his steamed Kale had the stem in it!!! All in all, not fine dining or farm to table. If you are looking for a restaurant with live entertainment, Beer and a Burger- you might like it.

What a treat this place was for the taste buds and the ears. A local live musician played while we ate...he was very talented. The Boudin a Ball app was super nice and large. The local brews on too were nice and cold send the waiter and staff were very accommodating and friendly. We will be back.

Not very well run-out of nearly everything (blamed it on festival). Could not seem to get the seating right-put us at the bar when there were tables open. Was here when it was the Quarry-same issues-avoided it then-could be the same management team.

First of all it took waaay too long to get the food which ended up being mediocre. The home fries were cut to big and the po boy came with nothing other than the shrimp and the bread. Also we ordered bloody Marys which we *thought* were on special for $4 along with the mimosas--all written together on a blackboard--but turns out they were $8 (not written)and when we noted this and asked if we could be given the $4 price, we were told it wasn't possible. Finally we waited nearly 30 min for the check and there was only 2 other tables. Really disappointing overall and considering it was the white squirrel festival you'd think they'd up their game a bit.
