The people, the sweets, the catering, the soups - everything is wonderful! Have been going here for years and Katina and John are two of my favorite people! Stop in on Friday mornings for some homegrown bluegrass, too.

A group of us enjoyed a wonderful lunch after a 5K run at the Blue Ridge Bakery. The Spanikopita was to die for - absolutely fabulous. Several of us enjoyed wraps. The roasted turkey is excellent! After lunch, one of the husbands had ordered a cake to celebrate the run. It was a chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. There was fighting among us as to who got to take home the leftovers. The cake was moist and the buttercream frosting was absolutely yummy. By the way, the soups and quiche are excellent as well. This is the perfect place to have a sandwich or bowl of soup and eat your cake, too!

Do not waste your money on this crap! We paid a lot of money for a wedding cake, was decorated in less than 10 min max! I had to decorate cake myself with silk flowers.... That were provided to this so called bakery! The cake tasted like it was a week old.... So dry... And the icing was the icky super sweet stuff... I don't call butter creme! The wedding cake was MISSING the borders, and no boxes to take home the top tier, or any remaining cake!
No calls were Ever retuned.... After they get all your $$$.
The grooms cake looked great.... But missing paper on the cake board, and the board was way too big for the cake.... Somebody needs to go back to Wilton for some classes!
I will never go back, and will never send anyone else here either! Lesson bought and well paid for....

I had been hearing about the music on Friday mornings but never could remember to go in on the right day. We finally made a point to go and were so glad. It was nice to have a cup of hot coffee, fresh baked goods., and live music Appalachain style. We stayed and listened to the music long after the coffee and muffin was eaten.
