Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights May 15 & 16 this year. We were put in a room facing the road & when I inquired at check in about the quietness of the room, I was told it would be quiet. It was not too noisy. We entered this room to an overwhelming odor. Everything was clean so it was most likely the cleaning supply smell being stuck in a room that had not been aired out in a long time. We opened the window to make due, but felt uncomfortable keeping the window open at night. The screen was broken & I didn't want flies to get in. The mattress is due for replacement as it sagged in the middle. The pillows are very small - like pillows on my sofa - which, along with the uncomfortable mattress, made for brief, uncomfortable sleep. We had one more night booked at another Sleep Inn on the trip home, but we decided to cut out trip short and cancel that room so we could drive a few hundred miles longer and sleep comfortably in our own bed. The woman at the front desk needed to help us cancel that reservation because there I could not use my cellphone anywhere on the hotel property. I really appreciated that help. Breakfast was acceptable and standard.

We have been staying at this Sleep Inn for five years now. Every time we travel to the Smokey Mts., we stay in Bryson City. The personnel are helpful and very accommodating to our needs. The cleanliness of the rooms is outstanding and morning breakfast is very enjoyable. We can not say enough about our stays there. This Sleep Inn is well run and maintained and has our highest recommendations to anyone planning a stay in the Bryson City area.

Room Tip: From our experience king rooms are great.

My husband stay here every time we go to Bryson City - I think it is the only hotel there. The rooms are very spacious and have wi-fi, Good size bathroom with the dressing/sink counter top area just outside the bathroom. We stayed in a handicapped room as the shower area is great for getting in and out of. It has an outdoor pool, fairly good continental breakfast and is located just off the Veteran's Highway.
Plenty of things to do in the area even though the town is so small. Venturing just outside of the town are many things to visit. The hotel is tucked away right in the Great Smokey Mountains. The desk personnel are very accommodating and kind. We definately recommend this hotel if you wish to see the mountains in that area.

Room Tip: I would image that any room would be nice, however if you like a quieter space, reserve a room not n...

Nice hotel , clean, easy access, very biker friendly, clean towel waiting on the bikes every morning, place to wash them out by the pool. Great central location for motorcycles in the great smokie mountains.

I would definitely stay here again. The continental breakfast was actually great. My teenagers ate plenty. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet and everyone at the front desk gave us suggestions/directions. We had no complaints during our two night stay.

We stopped at Bryson City for 2 nights to visit Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. The town is very small and we didn't see any other motel/hotel around that looked as updated/new as Sleep Inn. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and coffee/tea available all day. Very convenient!

Having never stayed in a Sleep Inn before, I was hoping for the best.....we are Choice Reward Elite Club members, so we knew what to expect, I was just nervous. Sleep Inn in Bryson City delivered. Hotel was recently remodeled, so it's updated and comfy. The staff was very nice and helpful, with the exception of one...but since he was the "night auditor", you would likely never interact with him. We did have a problem our first night with the phone ringing every 2 hours. It was some kind of glitch with the wake up call system. At 4am I finally wise up enough to take the phone off of the hook! :) Night two, I took it off the hook at 10pm just for good measure. Wifi worked great, never had any issues. Front desk and Housekeeping were above standard, breakfast was better than average. I saw the pool, workout room, etc, but never used them. Seemed to be the norm. We walked to everything in BC since the weather was so nice. We will stay again.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor, last room at the exit door, but it was quiet. I normally request a highe...
