Owner description: Have you ever looked a tiger in the eye? Felt the whole-body impact of lions roaring? Watched wolves romp through the woods? These and other once-in-a-lifetime experiences are possible at the Conservators' Center, a wildlife conservancy for more than 80 animals. An "oofing" at the Conservators' Center is an experience you'll have to feel to believe. It's the earth-shaking sound our lion prides make when they roar to one another. Our guides call to them on every tour, and you may have the opportunity to hear them from as close as 5 feet away! You'll also get up close and personal with tigers, leopards, wolves, lemurs, binturongs, and other exotic species. Tours, adoptions, memberships, and other donations support our work, so every visit from you helps us help them. Tours are held every weekend as well as some holidays. We have private experiences and field trips during the week. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE TO GET A RESERVATION FOR YOUR TOUR!

“What a unique experience”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

We took our 10 yr. old granddaughter for the Treats & Toys tour. They offer many different tours. We have never been so close to lions, tigers, lemurs, wolves and so much more. The tour guides were able to make the lions, tigers and singing dogs make their sounds. Standing so close to the lions while they were "oofing" (roaring) was amazing. The Center requires you to make a reservation in advance as the tours sell out. During the summer months I would suggest going early. They are only open Saturdays and Sundays.

“A MUST SEE ATTRACTION!”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

My wife and I visited this wonderful place after a coworker recommended it to us. The ticket purchas process was very easy online. All employees were very nice and knowledgeable. The work they do with these wonderful animals is amazing. Being able to be so close to the tigers and lions was amazing. Wonderful place.

Andrew, we are happy to hear you and your wife had such a memorable experience! We hope you will join us again soon! One of the best times of the year to tour is in mid-November, when our wolves begin to don their gorgeous winter coats. Try our Winter in the Wild tour, it's a must see! But remember to dress for the weather!

“Amazing!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

I definitely recommend a visit to the Conservators' Center. The animals appear to be well cared for by very knowledgeable staff. I've never had an opportunity to get this close to lions & tigers which allows you to truly appreciate the majesty of these big cats in a way you never get to experience at a zoo. We will definitely bring visiting family & friends for tours!

“Amazing Place!”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

I have been coming to the Conservators' center since 2008 and try to go every year- if we lived closer I would go much more often but we are 2 hours away. It is wonderful what the center is doing for these animals as the center is for the animals and their care, not made like a zoo that caters to the human visitors.

GO, VISIT, SUPPORT THEM HOWEVER YOU CAN!

“Knowledgeable staff, Awesome animals”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

Truly enjoyed myself taking tours through the facility. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and really seem to care about the animals. The number and variety of animals simply amazed me, and it was awesome to get so close to such beautiful creatures.

From beginning to end, an easy process to set up the tour, and a true pleasure to take it.

100% worth the money, would recommend to anyone. Definitely an organization worth supporting.
