“ice cream and mini-golf---gotta love it”

Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf
Reviewed 7 August 2014

The mini golf, not very challenging but it was fun and not time consuming. Ice scream was really good. Day we were there only one person working, that girl worked her butt off.

The custard is wonderful. Yum! Great place to thank the kids and it won't break the bank! It's next door to a big Wings, always a stop for the kids!

I highly recommend Uncle Eddy's. The custard is top notch. The Hurricane Eddy is like a Dairy Queen Blizzard but with better ice cream and more toppings mixed in. The milkshake is not thick but medium consistency and very good. The Turtle sundae was excellent. The minigolf is small, cramped and old but it is unlimited play and fine for kids under 12.

Nice little dessert place that makes a not so mean shake. Didn't play the miniature golf, but I'm sure that would be fun.

After having climbed to the top of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse we were definitely ready for some frozen custard. What we weren't ready for was how delicious the sorbets and frozen custards were. I had the Mango/Banana Custard. It had chunks of fruit that tasted so fresh and sweet in a very smooth custard. If our vacation rental had been closer I would have stopped every day! Their varieties do change daily.
