Checking out today after spending a week in room 624 at Lighthouse View, and had a great experience. Clean rooms and bathrooms, air-conditioning, microwave, mini-fridge... everything you'd want for a weekly stay. Generally couples and families staying here, so it is pretty quiet. The beach is right outside the door, with a perfect view of the sunrise and that calming surf sound... Fantastic. The only complaint I have is that their Wi-Fi has connection issues but they were working on that yesterday so they are responsive. A great stay - if I come this way again, I'll be back.

Room Tip: Go for the ocean view - they are ocean front. End units are larger with more deck privacy

We stayed for a week in June. The weather was nice. The view was very nice. Since we have never been there before, I relied on their advertisement video. It is misleading. There really is no ocean to swim in, meaning it gets deep immediately. There is the beach to walk on. I certainly would never allow my children more than a step into the ocean there. NO one was swimming. We did go to Frisco beach, which was really nice. The pool and our king suite with loft were clean. We did enjoy ourselves. Our only real disappointment was that we expected to be able to swim and boogie board in the ocean right there.

My husband and I recently spent a few days in the outer banks on the way to a family wedding in NC. What a wonderful find this property is. We couldn't have been happier. It was clean and comfortable and direct ocean front. It doesn't get any better and reasonably priced. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. We hope to return when we head back to the outer banks.

Room Tip: I would suggest a suite. You get a lot more room for a small price increase. Our room overlooked the ocean. Wonderful to wake up to sun and the beach. Very reasonably priced. Stayed in Room 524 with 2 grandchildren (ages 8 & 11). The registration staff were friendly and courteous. The room was clean, plenty of towels & daily maid service. Beautiful view with wooden deck chairs with a table to have my morning coffee. There were a lot of stairs to climb but it was O.K. and well worth the view. The kids loved the pool & hot tub. My only complaint was the access to the beach. It was difficult for me to access the beach because of the erosion & sand bags. You can go right or left after exiting the stairs & the beach widens but you have to climb over the sand bags if the tide is in. There are plenty of places for public access to the beach so it was all good. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much for adding to our wonderful vacation experience.

Room Tip: Definitely take the Ferry to Okracoke Island, that was a fantastic experience!
