I love ice cream. I go through a gallon a week. I eat it everywhere and all the time, so I always like to taste the different varieties around the country. We went to Calabash Creamery yesterday and we came away half impressed. My wife and daughter both ordered a coffee cappaccino ice cream with heath bar mixed in. My wife said that he scoop literally had one crumb of heath bar, my daughter thought hers might have had two crumbs. My other daughter had death by chocolate which was fine but nothing spectacular. I probably had the best of them all with chocolate peanut butter cup and a scoop of chocolate chip. Both were above average with decent flavor. My biggest problem with the establishment were the outrageous prices. Ice cream shouldn't cost $15 for four people unless it is absolutely amazing. This was not in that category. Sundaes cost over $6 and a banana split was $7+. There are nice rocking chairs on the front porch of the parlor to sit in and eat your ice cream and that was nice. Overall though, I only give it 3 stars.
