Engadine Inn & Cabins

I really cannot think of anything the Innkeepers could do to improve their offering. It's in a beautiful setting, a beautiful home, friendly and lovely staff, outstanding and imaginative breakfasts, gluten free offerings which give me goose-bumps when I think about them (including pancakes to die for).
Our room was lovely too, and our party booked out three of the five rooms in the Inn itself and so I can confirm that that wasn't luck - they're all great.
Wonderful.

Room Tip: They're all great!

We just returned home and can't wait to go back! Please don't let the fact that Honey Hill is located in Chandler NC keep you from staying there. It is a perfect location - not far from downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway or the Biltmore Estate. I cannot say enough great things about it. We always try to stay at B and B's when we travel and this was one of the best! Gretchen's breakfast was delicious, as were the snacks... and Cheryl has such a warm and gracious personality that we felt right at home sitting at the breakfast table with other guests. Truly loved it! Gretchen and Cheryl seemed to have found the perfect balance of being friendly and helpful and allowing you the privacy of a wonderful vacation. Planning to return this fall!

Our stay in June, 2014 at the cabins of Honey Hill made a perfect visit to the Asheville area. The cabins are on rollings hills with mountain views in every direction. Plus you are no more than 15 minutes from the many great things to see and do in the Asheville area. Cabins are extremely clean and the Innkeepers most helpful in providing directions to seeing the many areas of interest, including local, scenic directions to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway and its many beautiful mountain trails and views.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Honey Hill. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious. The room and house was immaculately clean and the hospitality was outstanding. Cheryle and Gretchen were delightful and very welcoming. We would definitely stay there again! Brentwood, TN

Room Tip: There wasn't a fitness center. That is n/a.

We had a wonderful time at Honey Hill! The Innkeepers are gracious and the food is incredible. Their suggestions for activities and dining were great. It was so nice to have a sofa in our room to relax on after a long day of hiking adventures. The only drawback was some noise due to our forward location in the inn coupled with the proximity to the interstate. Easily solved with some ear plugs :) My husband wasn't bothered a bit by it. We would return...perhaps with the kids to stay in a cabin.

We just got back from staying with Cheryl and Gretchen and I have not stop raving to friends about our stay there. Let me count the reasons why. 1. The innkeepers are excellent from the breakfasts to the recommendations, everything was wonderful. 2. The inn - is spectacular and even more so when you here it's history. 3. The people - one of the reasons we like staying at b&b's is meeting new people. 4. Their dogs - Oliver and Dolly are the cutest. 5. The property is secluded without being secluded, off a main road you would never know it is there. I could go on but you get the idea. I came back to reality realxed and refresshed and look forward to going back sometime in the not too distant future. Thank you Cheryl and Gretchen for making our stay a memorable one.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are spacious.

We can’t begin to express our feelings concerning the wonderful time we had at “Honey Hill”. Okay, it was AWESOME! The entire property simply takes your breath away from its beautifully maintained and decorated cabins and Inn, to the sweeping views of the immaculately manicured grounds and surrounding mountain side.
We stayed in the “Looking Glass” cabin. It is the perfect size, well stocked and clean as a whistle. This cabin also has an amazing view of the sweeping mountain side.
Your host, Cheryl and Gretchen, are the epitome of “hospitality” and their breakfasts are amazing!!!
You can’t go wrong with “Honey Hill Inn and Cabins”. It will leave you longing to come back again and again…and we will be back!
Thank you ladies for an amazing visit!
