We've stayed at the Sea Ranch 3 times & really loved it ~ we met some wonderful people that also were there during the same week we stayed ~ When I called to make the reservation for this year, the room we usually stay in & that I requested was not available, neither was the room above that one ~ the receptionist on the phone then informed me that I had been "red-flagged" & that I had to speak to the owner before I could make a reservation for this year! Evidently, several "incidents" happened last year but not one word was said to me or my husband the week we were there nor when we checked out ~ really? If there is a problem w/you, they don't have the decency to confront you when it happens, at check-in or check-out? They wait to see if you call the following year for another reservation then want to humiliate you over the phone w/customers standing in the office ~ WE ARE SO DISGUSTED & DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WAY ALL OF THIS WAS HANDLED ~ I CALLED BACK & TOLD THE RUDE RECEPTIONIST TO TAKE OUR NAME OUT OF THE SYSTEM, THAT WE WILL NOT BE BACK, & OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS OF OURS THAT HAVE STAYED THERE AS WELL WILL NOT BE COMING BACK ~ WE ALSO WILL LET OUR OTHER FRIENDS KNOW NOT TO STAY AT THE SEA RANCH!! What happened to being mature enough, respectful enough to inform your customers when the so-called incident happened & have a discussion about it face-to-face?
