This hotel is America's best kept secret. Not only are they pet friendly, there is also no extra charge for them staying in the room with you. The rooms are a very generous size allowing ample room for the pet's crate and supplies.

The hotel was a great place to stay with my dogs. We stayed in a king suite at the very end of the hall, and that was perfect for peace and quiet. The bathroom was bright, spacious, and clean. The fridge and microwave were clean. I was glad for rattier furniture even though my dogs are well-behaved. It shows some thought for the possibilities. LOL The only problem was that the second night the AC didn't seem to be working well, and I woke up in the morning to a horrendous smell of mold. I left earlier than I had hoped to and spent the rest of the day violently ill.

The location is convenient to grocery stores and Walmart and is tucked away in a quiet area.

We've stayed here several times before, and the rooms and facilities are clean and surprisingly large. The problem is the furniture in the rooms. Every time we stay the chairs are either missing or very uncomfortable. This time we had a king size room, but the second seating furniture was missing. The breakfast is available but sparse and unattended. We chose to have breakfast out because it was crowded and noisy. Check in was OK, but the person was singularly unhelpful and rather put out by our presence. She huddled quietly in the corner on a chair. There are other properties very nearby that are better for the same value.

A group of us stayed at LaQuinta for a business trip. The hotel was close to our office and the major highways (1, 64 and 40), and great local restaurants (like Lucky 32's). The hotel is tucked away behind a shopping plaza, but was very quiet without the bright lights that normally are present with a Wal-Mart parking lot. My room was on the backside of the hotel and had a King size bed with the couch-like love seat in front of the bed. The room had carpet and wood floors, the shower was nice and the bathroom was spacious.

The only negatives that I can say about the hotel was that the breakfast options were limited (toast, bagels, yogurt, cereal and fresh make your own waffles) no sausage or bacon, no cooked eggs like you may get at other hotels. There were only two juice flavors, and the coffee wasn't very strong for our group.

The other negative was that it was hot while we were visiting (mid to high 80's), and the air conditioning couldn't be set below 65, and sometime during the night the air conditioning would kick off and the temperature in the room would quickly go back up to 68 degrees. For someone that is used to sleeping in a house that is never heated above 65 degrees, and is turned down to 60 to sleep (and from the Lake Erie region) it was uncomfortable at night, but the beds were heavenly, with a ton of pillows to choose from.

We would stay at La Quinta again, in part, as it is close to our office and near many great restaurants that we would return to again.

Good hotel - some things needed to be touched up and addressed - hair on the bathroom tub wall - but otherwise an alright place. Standard breakfast - nothing to write home about but it is the same as most there places. The staff seemed nice but were not overly friendly.
