“Go every week!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014

This building has been the home of many restaurants over the years but I think Dean's is there to stay. They produce a new menu every week. Lots of opportunity to try new things. We were a party of nine and were sat at a nice long bench with chairs on the opposite side. The bench back was high and we think this might have helped with the fact that we could hold one conversation and everyone could hear. That was great.

The waiter was great. He had no hesitation making recommendations that all turned out great. He also told us why he made those recommendations - he knew a lot about where the food came from and, of course, how it was prepared. My Seafood Newburg was delicious. Others loved their risotto, crab legs, oysters. If you order the creme brûlée (which was perfect) be aware that it could serve at least 6 people. I've never seen such a large ramekin in my life.

The children's menu was great. For six bucks they each got good entrees (crab legs and grilled salmon respectively) plus drink and dessert (includes sundaes and Rice Crispie Treats).

Afterwards, we were trying to take a group photo outside when the hostess came out and took several for us. Very nice.

“Great place in Cary”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

I can say from how much I heard there was not much to do in Cary, I am starting to think other wise. There is a nice lake and seems like a great place to live. Dean's was awesome, nothing like a quick a google search and it lead me down this route. I enjoyed every little bit of my meal and appetizer. We sat in the bar area and she was very friendly and definitely made my first experience fantastic.

“Terrific fish, fabulous desserts - a cut above”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

First time there, so didn't know what to expect. Moderately casual and very family oriented -- lots of young families there on a Saturday night. Very fresh fish perfectly prepared, with your choice of a wide selection "accompaniments" (sauces) and interesting sides. Or go for the Chef's specialties (like rainbow trout stuffed with spinach, brie and crab, wrapped in proscuitto). Portions are nicely sized, not huge, not tiny. Generously sized drinks (white peach sangria!). VERY generously sized desserts -- the white chocolate bread pudding could easily satisfy two people, as could the chocolate chambord torte (but who would want to share such fabulous chocolate?). Higher quality/value than Bonefish.
