Coming from New york 23 years ago, being used to the best Italian food, finally found the best Italian food right here in the triangle! The quality of the food the best....highest quality and preparation/recipes/presentation and great service. Johhny, owner and chef, has his heart in every dish personally ensuring all is great. you leave full(portions huge, yet not huge price), dreaming about returning. Consistantly wonderful...this is as good as it gets!

We had the pleasure of dining at the San Remo Italian Grill last week. What treat to find such authentic Italian food and fantastic wait staff. I wish we had gone to this restaurant on the first day of our vacation instead of the last as we would have made a return trip. Highly recommend!

Visited for the first time last Saturday night. This is a rather small restaurant in a shopping center setting. We had reservations at 7 PM. In general, service was prompt courteous and efficient. The bread and salad were very tasty. The menu has a lot of variety. We ordered tortellini and a veal dish with onions, peppers, spinach and capellini. The tortellini was excellent, with a very nice Alfredo sauce. The veal itself was excellent, but I didn't find the overall combination particulary noteworthy - I'd order something different the next time. The one rap on the place is that the kitchen is NOT speedy. We were seated at 7 and were not served our entree until after 8; granted they were fairly busy, but not that busy. Overall, worth a return trip, provided you're not in a hurry.

Very nice Italian food, small place. Sometimes they even shoehorn in live entertainment in the form of a piano player/singer. A touch pricey for the location.
